Today Reggae Artist I-Octane releases his highly anticipated mixtape, “Voice Of The Streets“. Hosted by DJ Dot Com, the mixtape features past hits and current singles that are split into three categories for his fans, the “Badman” segment, “One Drop” and “Ladies” segment. Octane describes this as a quality product and it’s coming straight from the heart. He invites fans to see the different sides to his personality on this mixtape and promises it will be “Siick!“. OLDIES SUNDAY: @QueenOfReggae (Marcia Griffiths) – Melody Life (1968)


Today’s Oldies Sunday selection comes from the beautiful living legend and Queen of Reggae, Marcia Griffiths. Titled “Melody Life” and produced in 1968 by the late Sir Coxsone Dodd at Studio One, Marcia sings about not seeing the benefits in the long run for being promiscuous and she urges people to settle down with the one person who loves and cares for them. Such a beautiful song and Marcia Griffiths has such a lovely voice.

NEW MUSIC: @RealiOctane – Pretty Little Flower (Contagious Riddim)


Today’s new music comes from Digicel Jamaica’s Ambassador and Best Cultural Artist winner at the 2013 Youth View Awards, I-Octane. Titled “Pretty Little Flower” and produced by Troyton Music on the Contagious Riddim, Octane sings about a lovely lady in his life describing her as a pretty little flower and an angel.
