Today, Noisey Music presents someone who has experienced the influence in the UK, Deanz, Dancehall’s first Lesbian Artist. While the culture has had a stance on the LGBT Movement, Deanz and many others who are a part of the movement embrace it and she aims to tackle Homophobia with her music. Inspired by Vybz Kartel, she claims though her subject matter varies and at times leans to her lifestyle, she can go toe to toe with the best of them and shares common interests with them. Recently, the Boom Energy Drink team made Junction, St. Elizabeth, and Mandeville, Manchester their two stops on their “Badda Dan All Island Road Show“. Hosted by Chi Ching Ching, Snoop Rok, and the Boom Divas, residents came out and enjoyed what Boom had to offer including participating in a few of the events.
