It’s been a few weeks since the last release, but “Cruff SZN” is still in effect. King Cruff has been making a lot of progress this year thanks to his releases, and aims to make a bigger impact for the rest of the year. This time around, he gives us the new single, “Vigilante“.

Produced by Just Ideas and Dyse, King Cruff takes the law into his own hands on “Vigilante”. He effortlessly handles the AfroPop production as he makes a few bold statements throughout. He continues to stand out with the flow and lyrics, and we can expect the new single to ring out in a few places in the coming days. He made the promise in our Short Film we did with him earlier this year that he will be consistent with the music, and we look forward to a project from him hopefully early next year. Earlier this year, South African Recording Artist Tyla released her self-titled debut album. The album featured a number of collaborations including one with Dancehall Artist Skillibeng and ATL Rapper Gunna on a track called, “Jump“, and it has been receiving a lot of love. As the track continues to do well on streaming, Tyla follows it up with the release of the official Music Video.

Directed by Nabil and shot in Jamaica and Johannesburg, South Africa, Tyla gives us plenty to see in her video for, “Jump”. Tyla shares the screen with a number of dancers, Men who seek her affection, fellow South Africans and parts of their culture and everyday life, and Rapper Gunna. Skillibeng was unable to be present so his parts were shot in Jamaica, and features a number of familiar faces. Tyla continues to take her name to new platforms, and many look forward to see what’s next from her. Here’s to more Skillibeng collaborations as well as he has been on fire internationally, and Gunna continues to rise despite a few low points in his life.

Today, we take a trip to Ghana, more specifically the Cape Coast, to check out Essilfie a.k.a. Ess Thee Legend, who recently released her latest project, the “You Will Know My Name” EP.

Featuring 6 tracks, Ess Thee Legend is making statements with her 3rd official EP, “You Will Know My Name”. The EP follows up her 2022 “Luv Lyf” EP, and she taps into some good sounds here. “YWKMN” features R&B, Afrobeats, AfroPop, and Trap Hip Hop production by the likes of Robin Rozay, Insvne Auggie, Fortune Dane, and Almighty Trei, while Ess shares the spotlight with Rozay, Iyke Parker, Rie Osei, Titi Owusu, and Darkua on a few tracks. Ess The Legend has been on the scene for a number of years, and she possesses great vocals and songwriting abilities, and her energy has resulted in a sizable fanbase, with the potential for her to be a global entity.
