It’s November, but we’re preparing for Carnival 2025. The forecast is looking very packed, and we’ll be expecting plenty releases over the next few months. The Bands have already made announcements, and costumes are being made. With all that said, Nailah Blackman is back at it with the new single, “Wave“.

Produced by Anson Pro, Chippy G, and Ackah Dan, Nailah Blackman is bringing the heat in these chilly times, and a lot of energy on “Wave”. It’s all about being free to enjoy yourself, connect with like-minded folks, letting the music flow through you, and wave away all the bad vibes. Nailah has been busy with the releases this year, and she’s not letting anything slow down the momentum. We can expect even more from Ms. Blackman leading up to the official start of Carnival season, but in the meantime, tek up something and wave to this one!

“One Love, One Beat” is the message presented in today’s Lyric Video for “Bring The Beat“! As a part of Digicel’s “Bring The Beat” Campaign, the company has enlisted the likes of Usain Bolt, Machel Montano, Tessanne Chin and Producers Kickraux, Ricky Remedy, Anson Soverall for the single. With its mix of Island music and the mission to represent the Caribbean culture, sports, music and life, this comes ahead of the Olympic Games in Rio, Brazil in August with participation from many Caribbean Athletes. Jelani Paul of Untitled51 assists in animating the energetic lyrics and Production here. Time to “Buss di dance” and wave your flags this summer! They say the present is a gift, so we must create lasting memories out of it. Reminding us of this is a best of both worlds collab between Machel Montano and Tarrus Riley! Titled “Memory” and produced by Anson Soverall with writing from Emmanuel Rudder, Dale Ryan and Kit Israel, the artists speak on cherishing the moments with your loved ones and though the advancements of technology enables us to quickly document them, are they more significant than the old fashioned way? A single that promises to be a mainstay for years to come, I really would look forward to an collaborative project between these two artists, and a Major Lazer remix. Make it last forever!
