Upcoming Dancehall Recording Artist Shie promised us that new music will be coming this year, and she never lied. After taking a break and bouncing with “Superman” last month, she gets into her sensual side with the release of “Crazy“! Produced by Nuh Response Production on the “Mind Control Riddim“, Shie wants pleasure, a whole lot of it. Anything goes behind closed doors, and Shie wants you to fulfill her wild side. After announcing it recently, Digital Artist KxrlyMiyagi and the REM Collective have officially released the trailer for their GIF-based Miniseries, “REM II: Return Of Real“. The trailer gives users a 90’s feel as they throw in a short backstory along with a glimpse of the protagonist. Music for the trailer was provided by REM Producers Palace Pikney and SNR Beats. Viewers can hold on a little bit longer as the team promises to deliver the first episode on Friday August 4. Stay tuned to the Blog for more updates, and watch the trailer below.

Dutty yeah! Jamaican music continues to find itself in every nook and cranny of this Earth! While Popcaan enjoyed play time on the 2K16 edition, Recording Artist Sean Paul joins the line up for the Soundtrack for NBA 2K18! Featuring his 2016 “No Lie” collaboration with UK Artist Dua Lipa, players can rock to the soundtrack which also adds old school Hip Hop, Rock, and some of the more recent hit songs out there. “No Lie” was released last November on Island Records, and has since been certified Gold in the UK, Platinum in France, and has peaked to #2 in Hungary and the Czech Republic music charts. NBA 2K18 hits stores in September but you can hear the full soundtrack now on Spotify, and watch the video for the single below.

@JeebyLyricist Exposes The Other Side Of His Hometown in “Mobaby”!

Jamaica, Land We Love. Many outsiders know of the Resorts, the Beaches, living the “Island Life“, but there’s another side to our beautiful Island that is at times exposed. Following the death of a close friend, Recording Artist and Montego Bay, St. James resident Jeeby Lyricist released the visuals for “Mobaby“. Featuring Miss Jamaica Universe 2016 Isabel Dalley, and various clips highlighting Montego Bay in recent times, the visual sheds a light on both the beautiful and ugly sides of this location as it’s a haven for Tourists and great Businesses, but a place where Crime has been a huge thorn in its side. Delivered over a beat remake of Jidenna’s “Bambi” from The Kash, this has been a favourite of ours for the month and the song can be seen on the same level as Protoje’s “BLXXD MONEY”. Would be dope to get more verses from Artists representing other locations (Artists where are you?). R.I.P. Jayson Barnes and all the fallen Mobabies. Watch the video below.
