Yesterday on Hot 97, Reggae artist Chronixx was featured on their Morning Show with Cipha Sounds and Old Man Ebro. Here Chronixx spoke about his style of music, artists he grew up listening to and drawing inspiration from, Reggae’s contribution to Hip Hop, his album “Dread & Terrible“, his upcoming performances, explained the meaning of some of his songs and much more. I like how Chronixx handles his interviews. A very knowledgeable artist and you can tell how Cipher and Ebro are impressed. “Celine Dion is the biggest artist in Jamaica“. Yesterday on Hot 97, Mr. Vegas made a guest appearance. Not a stranger to the radio station, he spoke to Cipha Sounds and Old Man Ebro about his origins including his stage names, his well publicized relationship woe and not seeing his daughter, his thoughts on Vybz Kartel’s trial and the guilty verdict, Buju Banton being in jail, trying to avoid getting in trouble, showing respect to Bounty Killa, his recording process, and highlighting that Jamaica has a lot of talent. Not a bad interview here, what I commend him for is despite having a feud with Bounty Killa, he shows him respect here and not throw him under a bus.
