Happy New Year everyone! 2021 was a challenging year for some of us, but we look forward to 2022 being a more positive and progressive one for everyone. We start off the new year with new content as usual, and today we put you on to a new music video from Tommy Lee Sparta for the single, “Short List“.

Giving Tommy Lee Sparta the animated treatment is Animotionz with direction by Shella Topstar. We get an action packed clip for “Short List”, as it’s one of the more popular tracks off of the 2021 “Transition” double album. After seeing this animated visual, we hope after Tommy Lee is free, we can get to see him being a part of some Independent action films. How are you celebrating the new year? 450 Ends 2021 With The “Purge” On New Single!

Breakout Dancehall Artist 450 has been on a winning streak thanks to his music releases, and is steadily building his career to reach even greater levels. The singles “Imperfections”, “Journey”, and “Gyal Thief” shot him to stardom this year, and he has become the Artist to watch. His melodic style paired with raw lyrics continue to elevate his brand, and he is gearing up to release more music that shows his versatility. For his latest single, 450 takes a menacing turn on “Purge“.

Produced by Falconn for Tru Ambassador Entertainment, 450 has murder on his mind on “Purge”. He uses his melodic flow to share dark scenarios where he has to deal with his adversaries who have been disrespecting him and his associates, and is leaving no stone unturned when it comes to handling such matters. For those who thought 450 was a one dimensional Artist, he flips the script by channeling his Murderer mindset, and may just shock some of his listeners in the process. Accompanying the new single is a music video directed by Icey Jace Film Factory that is bound to capture your attention in a similar as watching one of the “Purge” films. 450’s “Purge” is his last offering for 2021 as he will be taking on a string of US performances come next year. For 3 decades, Dancehall Artist Bounty Killa has built his career from being a Lyricist, to one of Dancehall’s living legends. Bounty has built careers, killed careers, and laid foundations for the future generations to be inspired by. He is controversial, militant, but mostly celebrated. Today, we see that he’s not out of the game as he is preparing for the release of his biggest album yet, “King Of Kingston“. Before we get to experience that, he unleashes a much anticipated single called, “Dats Gadzilla“.

Produced by EscoDaShocker and Yo Christon, “Dats Gadzilla” is a much anticipated single from Bounty Killa featuring Vybz Kartel and Busy Signal. The Artists do damage on this track, showcasing that despite their many years in music, they are as sharp as ever, and can create songs that will surely connect with the world. Talk about a family reunion as Bounty reconnects with his musical sons to create a track that will be catching fire in no time. Bounty Killa had a highly publicized feud with Vybz Kartel for years and Busy had words with Kartel, but they have all patched things up since. OMC Records Steps Out With High Profile Music Releases!

Montego Bay, St James based One McKinley Crescent, otherwise known as OMC Records, is a new Record Label that is on the verge of making big waves in the Jamaican music scene. Founded in 2020 by Producers Renardo “Bobo” Fowler, Kamar “Dropis” Lindo, and Ricardo “Ricky” Kerr, OMC Records was established to bring fresh and new sounds to the world, and recruit and assist in developing new talent, making them future legends and game changers. Looking to end the year with a bang, OMC Records gears up for some high profile releases.

While Riddim compilations are usually the norm for Jamaican Record Labels, OMC Records takes a different approach, and is closing off the year with the release of Shaneil Muir’s “Hype And Boasy”, and Silk Boss’ “Dat Rich”. Shaneil Muir, originally from Flanker in Montego Bay, has been one of the dominating female Artists in recent years, possessing a string of hit singles which include “Same Guy”, “3D”, and “Yamabella”, and OMC Records believes “Hype And Boasy” will be another single that will be added to the Artist’s hit making discography. Silk Boss is a rising Dancehall Artist who is fresh off the success of his breakout singles “Mankind”, “Life Story”, and “Geet Weh”. The Montego Bay based Deejay is one of the contenders for best new Artist of 2021, and his upcoming “Dat Rich” collaboration with OMC Records has the potential to take his career, and the Record Label to the next level.

By now you may have seen the Interview with Anthony Miller of Entertainment Report (ER), and Dancehall Artist Jahshii. It went viral over the weekend, and every other person has been sharing their opinions on what took place due to its controversial nature. Like a true Artist, Jahshii saw the Interview’s traction as an opportunity to capitalize. He rightfully did so with the release of, “Media“.

Produced by Sonovic Music and Herah Music Production, Jahshii used his time to share his thoughts pertaining to the Interview, and the Media in general. With an opening line like “Play fool fi ketch wise, dem a eediat, cyah trick me wid di Media…“, you know he has something to say, and will not be censored or manipulated in any way. While many shared their opinions good and bad about the Interview, the end result is Jahshii’s name trending on various platforms. Jahshii has quickly become an Artist on radar in the past few months, and we believe there will be many more controversial moments like this for him. He has a lot more in store, so stay tuned.
