On tonight’s episode of Onstage, the legendary Queen Patra was interviewed by Winford Williams. Here she spoke about her reasons on her absence at the BET Awards, the music Industry, not being classified as just being a Dancehall artist, maintaining her fanbase, and her upcoming projects. She even previewed her “Sweet Reggae Music” video. Good to see Patra still doing her thing. She’s still very hot too. I wasn’t aware that she was invited to perform at the BET Awards along with Shabba Ranks but as she said she wasn’t feeling good about the opportunity. What do you think? Titled “#YuhKnowYuhPussyGoodWhen“, they speak on moments that happen when a good female genitalia is involved. Hilarious effort from both comedians, I look forward to many more from them. NEW VIDEO: @AsapFerg x @Asvpxrocky – Shabba Ranks

Today’s new video comes from two members of the A$AP Mob, Ferg and Rocky. Titled “Shabba Ranks“, we see Ferg living a life of luxury with ladies taking care of him, sleeping in a mansion, driving a Ferrari, partying with friends and being draped in gold and fine clothing. We also hear them rapping about luxury, women and chanting legendary Jamaican Deejay Shabba Ranks’ name throughout the song. The duo doesn’t stop there for later in the video a surprise cameo was made by Shabba himself and they all have a ball. Not a bad video, the song is pretty catchy but seeing Shabba Ranks in the video was everything! What do you think of the video? Check it out below and share your thoughts in the comments section.

Today’s mixtape comes from Boston rapper and protege of the currently incarcerated Max B, Riot. Titled Elevated, this is a 5 track EP of music about women, his day to day life, hustling, and why he and other rappers aren’t alike. With head nodding production from JizzleMuzik, Kid Class and Matcy P, this a great effort from the rapper with a laid back flow. If you’re not familiar with the young rapper, this can be a crash course. Keep yourself elevated, stay humble, keep riding the wave, and listen to Riot! Free Max B. While tonight many viewers got to see their favourite artists win awards at the 2013 BET Awards, they were also in for a treat from some great performances from Jamaica. Featuring Elephant Man, Beenie Man, Dawn Penn, Chaka Demus and Pliers, and hosted by Radio Jock Jabba, these artists performed a couple of their hits to the delight of the audience. Great representation, let’s hope this can open up more opportunities for Jamaican acts once they act right. What do you think? Today’s new music comes from a collaboration between UK’s DJ Neeko, Onira and Hurricane Jermaine. Titled “Herbalist Man” and produced by Onira and Neeko as O.S.O.M., we hear Hurricane Jermaine singing about his love for the herbs while we get a bit of dubstep throughout the track. Not a bad effort from them, very interesting hearing dubstep with lyrics encouraging the use of marijuana. It’s the healing of the nation so If you get some, you know what to do.
