The Council, @KabakaPyramid, @KoroFyah & @MassyTheCreator Share Social Commentary On New Track

Posted on by swadedavillain

It’s “Crunch Time” for the Hip Hop “Supergroup“, The Council (Five Steez, Nomad Carlos, The Sickest Drama, Inztinkz) as their debut Album’s release comes sooner than you think. Teaming up with Kabaka Pyramid, Koro Fyah, and Massy The Creator, they unleashed their 5th single titled, “Misery“. With Inztinkz handling the boards, the Artists offer some social commentary as they detail the conditions faced in Jamaica and how frustrating it can be to the point leaving the Island could be an option. In a society where the blind is leading the blind, and the system barring out those who can make a difference, it really is dread out here. Be on the look out as The Council sees September 29 as the due date for their debut Album, “Nothing Else Matters“. Artwork by Jome Anderson a.k.a. Scotty DreamKiller. Check out the track below.

The Council Holds Over Fans With The “Forgotten Parables” EP!

Posted on by swadedavillain

Jamaican Hip Hop Super Group The Council, which comprises of Five Steez, Inztinkz, Nomad Carlos and The Sickest Drama, is currently working on the “Nothing Else Matters” Album. With over a year since their debut single and a few weeks since their 2nd single, they aim to hold over fans with their 2 track EP titled “Forgotten Parables“. Produced by Inztinkz and featuring Arofat, Julio Sluggz and Wallabee, the Group explained that these songs were made years prior to the formation of the Group and it was only right to set them free and show listeners that it was written for them to work together exclusively. “Nothing Else Matters” sees a 2017 release but for now, check out the EP below and share your thoughts in the comments section.

@FiveSteez Shows Us The “Dirty Couch” In New Video!

Posted on by swadedavillain

Fresh off the release of his “HeatRockz” EP with Producer Mordecai Beats, Rapper Five Steez introduces his “Dirty Couch” to the world in his first visual off the project. Directed by Scotty DreamKiller with assistance from Dirx, Steez drops the bars you know in between crashing and pouring up some Dragon Stout on his couch. With the Yellow/Black colour being prevalent throughout the video, this gives the impression that Five Steez is paying homage to the Wu Tang Clan here. This video wouldn’t be the same if members of the First Coast didn’t show their face and had their share of Dragon Stout on the couch. HeatRockz is available now! Get familiar with the boom bap Rap by checking out the video below and share your thoughts in the comments section.

Jamaican Rapper Five Steez started off his “HeatRockz” season with biweekly premieres, and today the wait is over as he and Producer Mordecai Beats finally unleash their “HeatRockz EP“! Featuring 5 tracks, Steez aims to promote the “True School“, and bring that Boom Bap Rap that hasn’t been very present in the Hip Hop scene. With Rappers Nomad Carlos and Sosa being the only featured guests, Steez delivers bars upon bars over Mordecai’s vast Production and proves there’s no slowing down soon. The project will hold fans over until The Council, the super group that consists of Five Steez, The Sickest Drama, Inztinkz, and Nomad Carlos, complete their debut project. Artwork by Scotty Dreamz! Get Your Books Ready As @FiveSteez Shows Us “True School”!

Posted on by swadedavillain

“For all the Dealers in the streets, and all the fly women in their Jeeps!“

Five Steez drops off another “Heat Rock” as the time draws near for his Mordecai assisted, “HeatRockz EP“. Today the Old and New Schools find common ground in the “True School“. Over hard hitting drums and eerie samples, Steez bobs and weaves and delivers dope lines speaking on “Dime A Dozen“ Rappers, not following trends, the true essence of Hip Hop, and of course showing respect to those who keep it true to the craft. This single is for those who push the BMWs or their feet, for those who find greatness in not only Old School Hip Hop, but in the New School, and for those who will keep this on heavy replay! Rock to this one by listening below and share your thoughts in the comments section.
