It’s a new day for Dancehall Artist Govana, and his moves will take him to levels beyond the ceiling. As one of the formidable lyricists, when he’s not constructing deadly verses, he’s getting the ladies in the mood with some selection from his stash. This time, he’s building on an already solid foundation with his sophomore album, “Legacy“.

Featuring 12 tracks, Govana is making some of his best music on “Legacy”. Following up the 2020 debut album, “Humans And Monsters Are Not The Same“, Govi Govi is not playing around. Whether you get the gyallis, hints of “Deablo“, or the StrikeForce Boss, “Legacy” has you covered for the Govana experience. Production on the album include the likes of Raheef Muzik Group, Crash Dummy Productions, Chimney Records, Emudio Records, Daseca, Hemton Music, and Attomatic Records, while Popcaan, Jada Kingdom, Skeng, Mavado, and Aidonia join in on some special selections. It’s been a while since these two made a song together, and it’s long overdue. Dancehall Artists Govana and Jada Kingdom have been thriving in their respective careers, but when they team up, it’s a moment that many enjoy. They step out with their new single, “Pull Over“.

Produced by Chimney Records and Raheef Muzik Group, Govana and Jada Kingdom get raunchy in “Pull Over”. Armed with sexually charged lyrics, “Govi Govi” and “Big Batty Jada” don’t waste any time here, and they trade energies and vibes that will have listeners keeping the song on repeat. The chemistry continues in their Music Video directed by Rizzy for Now Or Never, and we know this single will be a favourite in the weeks to come. Govana recently cleared the air when rumours surfaced of him having a rift with Aidonia, but those stemmed from Gossip platforms trying to create a narrative. He has the style, he has the vocals, and he has solidified himself as a legend in Jamaican music. He captivates the ladies, he makes the crowd sway to his music, and his name is Dexta Daps. Today (January 12) marks his birthday, and he celebrates it in one of the best ways with the release of his latest album, “Trilogy“.

“Trilogy” is the follow up to the much-celebrated “VENT” album, and Dexta Daps is once again at his best here. Featuring 16 tracks, Dexta has something for everyone here, with a few dedicated to the ladies to enjoy over and over. The new album is a celebration of the staying power of the Dancehall Crooner, and this is just a preview of what’s to come for the Artist this year. Production from the album include the likes of Slingerz Records, TJ Records, Sean Alaric, and Majorseven while Alaine, Masicka, Jada Kingdom, Chronic Law, and Rally Banks make appearances on the album. Another solid effort from Dexta Daps.

Earlier, we shared that Stefflon Don officially kicked off her beef with Jada Kingdom with her diss track called, “Dat A Dat“. In the true spirit of feuds, Jada got to work, and has responded. Round one has started off in an interesting way, so here is the track, “London Bed“.

Taking over the “Talibans” Instrumental that made a hit with not only Byron Messia, but with Burna Boy, Stefflon Don’s ex, on a remix, Jada Kingdom takes over the guns to fire her shots at Stefflon Don. She doesn’t hold back with the disses herself, and she shows that she won’t be taking hits from nobody without sending a few back. It’s one thing when the males get to beefing, but when it’s the ladies’ turn, things get a little more exciting. Twinkle is mad. 2024, what’s next?

The “Dutty Money Riddim” that Rvssian unleashed has brought forward hit songs for the 2020s, and gave the original “Go-Go Club Riddim” new life. This week, it is a part of war as Dancehall divas Stefflon Don and Jada Kingdom‘s beef has taken a different turn. While you will not get all the details over here to how it got started, we know this was long overdue. After a series of subliminal shots, Stefflon Don steps out with the first attack called, “Dat A Dat“.

With no time to waste, Stefflon Don gets aggressive on “Dat A Dat”. With her sights set on her target, she stays in her attacking formation throughout, and listeners will be entertained, egging on her opponent to answer with her own diss track. Sting may be over, but 2024 made way for a cat fight. Not many expected this, but only time will tell how much further this beef will escalate. Stay tuned.
