With rumors of a divorce between Jah Cure and his Wife, Kamila, it has been trying its hardest to overshadow his music career. With his “The Cure” album creating a huge buzz, Jah Cure brought forward a special performance to the Onstage set. Firstly he spoke about “The Cure” being a classic album and its success, addressing the rumor, being heralded as being one of the best Jamaican Vocalists, and much more. He also delivered a set where he performed singles from his “The Cure” album. Good to see Cure still pushing and brushing past the rumors that have stepped his way. Coming through with the visuals for a great song is Reggae artist Jah Cure. Titled “Life We Live” which was directed by The Truth and shot in Jamaica, we see Cure travelling in the back of a Jeep while singing his song. We’re also treated to some great visuals of various areas in Jamaica where we see people of all ages interacting with each other through various activities. With his upcoming performance on the Arthur Guinness Day concert being a huge milestone in his career, Jah Cure checked in on Onstage to speak on that and more. Here he spoke about the popularity of his cover of John Legend’s “All Of Me” and “Unconditional Love“, working on new music, working with a few producers as he has been producing most of his singles, the Arthur Guinness Day concert, and his experience in shooting the music video for “Unconditional Love” in Cuba. Not a bad interview here, Cure has been doing his thing for a long time so it’s good to see him embark this new milestone in his career. OLDIES SUNDAY: @TheRealJahCure x @SizzlaKalonji – King In This Jungle (1998)

Today’s Oldies Sunday selections come from two Lions of Reggae Music, Sizzla Kalonji and Jah Cure. Titled “King In This Jungle“, this was produced by Beres Hammond for his Harmony House Productions in 1998. In this song we hear the two artists speak out on those who wish to oppress people but stumble with the help of Jah. They also consider themselves Kings in a society that’s like a Jungle and encourage people to follow Jah and have more faith in the teachings.
