Rapper Chase Soundz continues his music release streak for the month of September. He gave us “Blooming Through Flames” and “Parade” previously, and has been gaining some great feedback. Now into week 3 of his series, we get his latest effort titled, “Watts“.

Produced by J Keys, Chase Soundz gives us a report on what he been experiencing live from “Babylon“. Over a somber beat, Chase lets us in on the ups and downs he faces day to day, recall some of the struggles his family faced, making observations on the world around him, and counting his blessings through them all. Chase Soundz continues to keep it lyrical, and stands out with his delivery and subject matter. Stay tuned for more from him.

Jamaican Hip Hop collective The Council a.k.a. The Council of the Gods returns with new music. Despite the pandemic putting a halt to many things, Five Steez, The Sickest Drama, and Nomad Carlos managed to fight through the blocks, and make something happen. Finally seeing an opening, they stepped out with their latest offering titled, “Trilogy“.

Featuring 8 tracks, The Council teamed up with the legendary Equiknoxx Music label. Production come from the minds of Time Cow, Son Raw, and Sawandi, and they present Dub, Jazz, and Electronica inspired beats to build a great vibe. The Council in true fashion stepped out with their usual lyrical abilities, and handled each beat like they’re supposed to. While every Dancehall and Reggae Artist got a chance to put out new music this year in the middle of the pandemic, Jamaican Hip Hop had to show up and make some noise. Rapper Chase Soundz is back on the scene with new music for everyone to enjoy. He recently revealed that for the month of September, he’ll be dropping new music weekly. Today, his first entry is the single, “Parade“.

Produced by Eeryskies, Chase Soundz continues to show that he can get lyrical on whatever beat is thrown his way. He pay homage to Beyonce, Jay Z, and Dreamville Rapper Lute in a few bars, and he keeps his flow smooth throughout. Until then, Rapper Chase Soundz is trying to get the party started early with the release of “Bay Gyal“!

Produced by JGladMusic, Chase Soundz gets into some Dancehall vibes on “Bay Gyal” as he kicks off lyrics for the ladies. Listeners will get two different meanings from “Bay Gyal” title as (1) it refers to the beautiful ladies from Chase’s hometown of Montego “Bay”, St. James, and (2) the Patois meaning for having an abundance of women in your presence. Chase kicks off Summer 2021 in the right way, and had revealed that “Bay Gyal” is the first of a series of Dancehall tracks he will be releasing throughout the rest of 2021. Sad One Is Not The One To Ramp With In “Underground” Video

Hip Hop and Dancehall are just two genres that will never leave each other out. No matter how many changes they go through, there will be creators that will blend them together to make great music. Since the advent of the UK, Chicago, and New York “Drill” movements, many artists have been utilizing the new sounds, and making hits of their own. One of the latest artists to do so is Jamaican Rapper Sad One with the track, “Underground“.

With a video directed by Sad One, FaceXpression, and Teshaun Williams, viewers will find Sad One playing the role of a Gangster Boss as a character played by Social Media personality Cuz reaches out to him and airs out his troubles. Sad One then makes the necessary moves to rectify Cuz’s situation, and viewers will see that Sad One is not the person to ramp with. Keep an eye out for Sad One, we believe you’ll be hearing a lot more from him in coming months.

Zac Jone$ has been putting in the work over the years. Having enjoyed the success of the 2019 single “Miss Jamaica” featuring Agent Sasco, he is on his way to making a lot more things happen. Earlier this year he gave the world the bubbling single, “Lonely“, now he follows up with the visual.

Directed by Jesse Suchomel and starring Kadiya McDonald as the love interest, Zac Jone$ deals with matters of the heart over an iotosh production. The video highlights Zac and Kadiya working on getting closer while Zac shares how various factors can affect what can become a promising relationship. The events of the past can make one feel lonely even in a situation, but with the right words of encouragement, they can be put aside to embrace a lovely future. The video is beautifully presented, and features appearances by Sheen, BenjaminStony, Luke Jones, Lauren Tomlinson, Rashieka Teona, and Kyle Anderson.
