Sad One Is Not The One To Ramp With In “Underground” Video


Hip Hop and Dancehall are just two genres that will never leave each other out. No matter how many changes they go through, there will be creators that will blend them together to make great music. Since the advent of the UK, Chicago, and New YorkDrill” movements, many artists have been utilizing the new sounds, and making hits of their own. One of the latest artists to do so is Jamaican Rapper Sad One with the track, “Underground“.

With a video directed by Sad One, FaceXpression, and Teshaun Williams, viewers will find Sad One playing the role of a Gangster Boss as a character played by Social Media personality Cuz reaches out to him and airs out his troubles. Sad One then makes the necessary moves to rectify Cuz’s situation, and viewers will see that Sad One is not the person to ramp with. Keep an eye out for Sad One, we believe you’ll be hearing a lot more from him in coming months.

Zac Jone$ has been putting in the work over the years. Having enjoyed the success of the 2019 single “Miss Jamaica” featuring Agent Sasco, he is on his way to making a lot more things happen. Earlier this year he gave the world the bubbling single, “Lonely“, now he follows up with the visual.

Directed by Jesse Suchomel and starring Kadiya McDonald as the love interest, Zac Jone$ deals with matters of the heart over an iotosh production. The video highlights Zac and Kadiya working on getting closer while Zac shares how various factors can affect what can become a promising relationship. The events of the past can make one feel lonely even in a situation, but with the right words of encouragement, they can be put aside to embrace a lovely future. The video is beautifully presented, and features appearances by Sheen, BenjaminStony, Luke Jones, Lauren Tomlinson, Rashieka Teona, and Kyle Anderson.

Dropping some Hip Hop vibes courtesy of Chase Soundz today. The HTG Rapper worked on his consistency throughout 2020, and is looking to step it up even more thanks to a bunch of new music he has in the stash. Today we get to check out his latest track, “Feel This“.

Produced by Lethal Needle and featuring Five Steez, the two get into some Boom Bap vibes as they kick bars and flows over some easy going Jazz influenced production. The track marks the 2nd time a member of The Council and HTG collaborate on a track together. The first effort came from Daley and Five Steez’s “All I Know” back in 2020. If all you know is to chase sounds and money, but still ensure your steez is right, then you have to feel this track!

In 2020, Rappers Niyne and Rxp Flo made noise with their respective projects, “Trapping From The North” and “Trap Island” respectively. Just a couple members of the growing Trap movement in Jamaica that has influenced Dancehall in recent years, only time will tell when we’ll see the movement grow beyond measure. While they have their respective fan bases, they start off the new year with a collaboration called, “Life Hack“.

Produced by Jae Martin, Niyne and Rxp Flo trade bars as they aim to get to all the bags, and if there is opposition, they’ll handle it in their own way. Not only are they bringing some energy to the scene, but they bring together their respective collectives, and possibly hinting at a soon to be released joint project. The Hip Hop scene has grown in all sort of ways in Jamaica, and you best believe it won’t die anytime soon. Get familiar with the wave!
