Today we have a newcomer by the name of Sara Bloom. Hearing her voice, she might be on your radar in no time. Teaming up with known Producer JLL, she delivers her debut single, “Wanna Know” (download here). A jazzy number, Sara rides the production effortlessly as she has a one on one talk with her love interest. Feelings play a big part in any relationship, and when one party starts showing them, the other can accept them and share their own, or hit the door. Feed her curiosity, let her know what’s up. A smooth debut from Sara Bloom, give it a listen below and follow us on Instagram at @13thStreetPromo.
Today we present to you the sounds of the Artist named Sekani. Based in New York, he took his Jamaican sound and influences to what many know as the birthplace of Hip Hop, and created his own fire. With that in mind, he recently released his latest project, “Fragmented“. Featuring 13 tracks, he shares his stories about his experiences and journey from Jamaica to the US, and drops some consciousness throughout. He aims to grab more ears thanks to his unique blend of Hip Hop, Dancehall, and Jazz sounds with assistance from Warren Xclnce, DA, 4Real, Canis Major, and more. Joining him on his musical journey are the likes of Roe Summerz, Royal Blu, and Kapital Stone. For those who need to give the trendy things a break, “Fragmented” is a project to pick up and put in rotation. A wonderful listening experience here.
Jamaican Producer SOS Dynamikz is back at it again with a new Riddim to inspire you, and add a splash of vibes to your day. Titled “Floor Flowers“, this Jazz inspired piece ushers in SOS’ new wave of “Jazz Hop” and brings a warm feeling to your ears. With Productions for Chronixx’s “Sell My Gun” and “Real Real” under his belt, SOS Dynamikz is currently working on the follow up to his “Make Beats Bro, She Won’t Text You” project. Today’s new music comes from a newcomer to my blog. Many may know her from “The Spunk & Reenz Show” but now she’s known as Jane Macgizmo. Titled “Black Skin” and produced by SOS Dynamikz, we hear Jane jazzing her way over SOS’ hypnotizing production with appreciation for her “Chocolate Heaven” and yearns for its return to her. Great effort from Jane, good to hear lyrics like this and SOS does the song justice with his production. Hitting your airwaves soon. What do you think?
