Like her previous releases, she sheds light on her life, her experiences, musical influences including Garnet Silk and Lady Patra, promotes love, and sets the tone for an expansion of her artistry. He has found success, but he still wants more. This time around, like his latest EP, he’s working on a “Gran’ Scheme“.

Featuring 9 tracks, Vindon has his focus on new developments and greater success on the “Gran’ Scheme” EP. He blends Hip Hop, Dancehall, EDM, and Pop sounds throughout, shares his ideas and ambitions, and puts together a project that gives the listeners a look into what he has experienced, and what he’s looking forward to accomplish. Vindon holds his own through all nine tracks, and taps into production from the likes of AX.EL, Lookas, Crime Beatz, Siimi, and Simbai. Despite what the Weather was yesterday, Summer is upon us, and the party season is looking to be a very fun one. With that said, a flurry of singles are being released, and are expected to stay in rotation through the season, and the rest of the year. Prince Guava o/c Guava throws his hat in the ring with the new single, “Miss Little N Cute“.

Produced by Steel Chest, Guava calls out all the sexy ladies in “Miss Little N Cute”. Inspired by Admiral Bailey’s “Gimme Punanny” hit single from 1986, the Deejay seeks the one who possesses the “Glimmity Glammity“, and knows how to have a good time with him. Steel Chest’s production also borrows from a classic sound, and with catchy lyrics, “Miss Little N Cute” is expected to hit the streets in a big way this Summer. At this point, Promoters need to book Guava as he has enough music to amplify the party. He is still pushing out Comedic content, but you need to get familiar with his music, like his “Energy” EP that was released this year. Tune in!

Internet Personality/Recording Artist Prince Guava o/c Guava continues to expand his brand  in the Jamaican scene. When he’s not making people laugh from his many skits, he’s making music and securing brand deals. Earlier this year he released his debut EP, “Energy“, but recently he dropped the video for the single, “Aye“.

Directed by Saii Media Group and shot in Mandeville, Prince Guava finds himself in a bit of trouble in the video for, “Aye”. With Producer Steel Chest playing the role of a Police Officer, tickets are being issued, and fines are demanded to be paid here. The video has its funny moments, and those familiar will keep this on repeat. “Aye” has gained a lot of popularity for Guava since its release in 2024, and with the video giving it new life, maybe he can take it on the road this Summer. Manchester-based Dancehall Artist XKappe has been consistent with the music this year, and is catching the attention of many in the process. With his raw energy and witty wordplay, his request list continues to grow as well as his booking inquiries. When it comes to the music, he’s sick with it. He emphasizes it with the visual for the single, “Mission“.

Directed by Saii Media Group, XKappe finds himself in the straight jacket in the video for, “Mission”. Over Steel Chest’s “Mission Riddim“, the Deejay shares his passion for getting to the money, becoming one of the heavyweights, and dominating not only his lane, but any lane he finds himself in. The video finds him confined to a wheelchair while he Deejays for Steel Chest in a Mental Institution setup, with the intention of escaping when the time is right. Luciano, Bushman, Capleton & More Celebrate “Garnet Silk Legacy” In Mandeville

On April 26, Mandeville was treated to something special from one of its greatest musical exports. The late Garnet Silk became a legend in a few years in Jamaica, and his early passing left behind a catalogue that exalted him to great levels. Aforementioned date was set for the first staging of the “Garnet Silk Legacy Day” event. Comprised of a fun day for the family and a night Concert held at Brooks Park, a former stomping ground for Silk, Mandeville and its surrounding areas were tuned in to the music of Silk, united in the name of community, and had a great time.

Put together by Lovey Silk (Garnet Silk’s spouse), the Smith family, and The Garnet Silk Foundation, the event was one to experience, and for those who weren’t fully familiar with Garnet Silk and his work, were given a lesson that thanks to his catalogue being selected by the legendary Ricky Trooper, and tributes by a number of Artists. Speaking of Artists, the night concert featured performances by friends, family, and those inspired by Silk including Aaron Silk (Garnet Silk’s brother), Anthony Cruz (Nephew), Garnet Jr. (Son), Luciano, Capleton, Bushman, Bongo Herman, Nature Ellis, Bugle, Droop Lion, and many more. For those who weren’t able to attend nor tuned in to our TikTok Live Broadcast, check out highlights of the event below, and look forward to its 2nd staging next year.
