Armanii Shares New Single, “You & I”

Dancehall Artist Armanii has been having an Interesting year. When he wasn’t going viral on TikTok, he was doing numbers with his music, and getting his name out to more people. He was recently dealing with some health problems, and but has since bounced back ready to make big moves. This time around, he’s looking to secure another hit for the rest of the year with, “You & I“.

Produced by Kulcha, Armanii’s “You & I” looks to be a hit with the couples. With lyrics geared towards getting close to his Woman, we can expect the track to enjoy live on Social Media through a series of videos. Production taps into some Drill Music vibes, and aims to keep the listener focused throughout. Accompanying it is a Visualizer directed by DJuvii featuring Recording Artist Sp!da and with Armanii they’re doing everything from making videos, grocery shopping, traveling, and chilling by the seashore together. The video will be a hit with the fans, and look forward to how the track will do for the rest of the year.

Hailing from the US Virgin Islands, the duo of Theron and Timothy Thomas a.k.a. R. City have been big names in music thanks to their songwriting and hit-making skills, racking up Billions of streams over the years. In 2024, they still hold that power as Theron secured the award for Songwriter of the Year at the 66th GRAMMY Awards last night. With celebrations in the air currently, the duo made more noise over the weekend with the visual for their single, “Das My Pum“.

Directed by Devin Johnson, it’s all about that special lady in R. City’s “Das My Pum”. She’s not impressed by the flashy things and status, but she deserves being loved and treated in the best ways. Mixing up some Jersey Club, Pop, and Drill on the production for a track that will get some rotation this Valentine’s season. The video shows off some of the beauty of Virgin Islands, and the Thomas brothers have some fun through with their favourite people. “Das My Pum” is featured on R. City’s “This Is Not A Drill…” project from last year. Play this for your special someone. Congrats to Theron on the GRAMMY!

Bakersteez recently announced that he will be releasing a new project this month. Titled “Life Liva“, fans can expect more heat from the Rapper, and he’ll be bringing a few friends along. To get the anticipation going, he has been releasing videos, including the latest called, “Stand By Me“.

Featuring Roshawny BadG, Bakersteez gets into some Drill vibes on “Stand By Me”. With production by Armzhouse Records who flipped Ben E. King’s “Stand By Me”, the Artists are about the ladies in their collaboration. The video switches between fish eye lens shots, supermarket runs, street performances, and a lil A.I. magic, and it’s another preview of what’s to come on “Live Liva”. Get familiar with this one.

Beenie Man is a King of Dancehall. Love him or hate him, he is the greatest Dancehall Entertainer, and he has plenty moments at stage shows, and attendees to vouch for that. With over 40 years in music, it’s still crazy that a former child star not named Michael Jackson has made his name transcend generations. In 2021, Beenie shared that he would release a new album. After a few delays, he has finally liberated “Simma“.

“Simma” features 20 tracks, and it finds Beenie Man still holding his own in Dancehall Music. Never one to stay boxed in, he tries out a few different styles for this album. Whether your taste is the traditional Dancehall/Reggae, or even the new wave of NY and UK Drill, Beenie has something for everyone. Production on “Simma” include the likes of Suku, Dutty Rock Productions, Walshy Fire, The FaNaTiX, Frankie Music, Tony Kelly, and Teddy Riley. Beenie shares the album with a number of friends including Giggs, Popcaan, PatoranKing, Busy Signal, Ms. Banks, Sean Paul, StoneBwoy, Mÿa, and more. Trini Artist Boy Boy has been one of the big names in the “Trinibad” movement for quite some time, and he looks to become a bigger name on a global level. With a number of hits in his catalogue, he brings a style and persona that quickly gained him a following. All about making big moves, he recently released the visual for the track, “Bufu“.

Directed by Romael, “Bufu” finds Boy Boy bringing some aggression. Shot in New York, the Artist rolls through the city with his crew, and makes it clear that he’s ready for whatever if the Opps think they have the upper hand. The single was produced by The FaNaTiX and released through 23 Formation, and it features some NY Drill sounds that fit well with Boy Boy’s in your face lyrics. The current wave of Trinibad Artists continue to make noise around and outside the Caribbean, and we can expect even more from Boy Boy later this year.

Trinidad-based Artist 1K StayActive continues to keep the streams busy with new music! With a year that saw him grow his reach and even got endorsed by a few prominent names, the upcoming Artist is working on his consistency, and releasing the right music that will catch more ears. Recently, 1K released the track, “Bringing It Back“.

Produced by OJG and featuring a sample of “Bumpy’s Lament” by Soul Mann & the Brothers, 1K StayActive gets into “trap mode” as he’s on a mission to elevate himself and others around him, and secure all the bags that come his way.
