.@Kris_Karz’s “Love” & “Energy” Featured In @ArchDigest x @JimmyButler Video

Jamaican-born/Florida-based Producer/Musician/Recording Artist Kris-Karz has been on the scene for a number of years, and when he’s not producing for the likes of Kapital Stone, Royal Blu, Blvk H3ro, Dylan Golden, and Lola Jaan, he’s putting together his own music to speak about love, relationships, and life overall. He has gained recognition in Jamaica, throughout parts of the United States, and other parts of the world, but recently his profile expanded to new territories thanks to his recent placement with popular American Magazine, Architectural Digest.

Architectural Digest expanded their platform to host a number of video-based content on Youtube in recent years, where they feature property, Interior Design, and landscaping from celebrities, and other big names. For their latest entry in their “Open Door” series, they highlighted property from Miami Heat superstar, Jimmy Butler. The 14 minute clip showcased the NBA star’s Southern California Mansion with designs from popular Interior Decorator Tiffany Brooks, and featured music from Kris-Karz’s “Portraits” project. “Portraits” was a project that was announced in 2021 but not fully released, and included the singles “LUST”, “LOVE”, and “ENERGY”. The Instrumental for the tracks “LOVE” and “ENERGY” were featured in the closing of the video, along with other production from Karz that were played in various parts.

“This is truly a blessing for me,” shared Kris-Karz. “I have been making music for well over 15 years, and this placement is a huge accomplishment for me. Sometimes you don’t know who will connect with your music, and to know that the Architectural Digest team loved it enough to include it in their content, i’m truly grateful for the opportunity. For those who ever had doubts about their talent, keep pushing because your moment and more are just around the corner. Believe in yourself.”

Kris-Karz, born Kris-Anthony Smith in Manchester, Jamaica, is the founder of Kngly Studios, and its main Producer and Recording Artist. He is also the mind behind the Youtube Acoustic series, “Kngly Live”, which provided a platform for Recording Artists and Musicians from South Florida and surrounding areas to showcase their talent. He has produced for a number of local and overseas-based Artists, and has performed at a number of events in Miami, Atlanta, and northern parts of America. As a Recording Artist, he has released singles such as, “LUST”, “Heartbreak”, “Text Me”, “GUSH”, and more recently “Safe With Me”. He is currently finalizing a number of releases to close off 2024, and kick off 2025.

The new “Open Door” episode featuring Jimmy Butler is now available for viewing on Architectural Digest’s Youtube channel. Kris-Karz’s latest singles “GUSH” and “Safe With Me” are out now on all digital music streaming platforms. Kong also became the Island’s leading Producer having worked with everyone from Toots and The Maytals, Desmond Dekker, and many others. Today, we salute his work with our latest Playlist, “Sampling Leslie Kong“.

Sartout Records on 13thStreetPromotions.com

.@SartoutRecords Continues To Strive, And Build A Legacy

Western Jamaica-based Sartout Records is holding on strong, and making big moves even amidst challenging times. The label was originally started in the early 2010s by twin brothers Darren and Dane Sortie, and together they developed a sound that stood out on the scene, and built a respectable catalogue with Artists who went on to make indelible marks in Jamaican music. From building Riddims in their room to scoring the “Top Prize”, the twin producers took on the Industry with a strong determination to win. The duo took a chance on an upcoming Artist named Alkaline, and it paid off as he went on to become a Dancehall anomaly, and they have shared a strong working and personal friendship over the years. Sartout Records is currently down to one member, Darren, as Dane passed away in 2021 due to complications from Covid 19, but the label continues to thrive.

“The journey continues with Sartout Records despite losing Dane, and there’s a lot more in store as the label has been having some great years,” shared Darren Sortie in quick chat recently. “I’m just working on more things to further honour my brother and father (who passed away along with Dane due to Covid complications), and I’m excited to share them to the world. This year already got a taste of the Sartout sound on Alkaline’s “Boss”, “Motivation”, “Nah Laugh”, “Open A Brain”, and “Cya Tame”, and they have been doing well with the fans supporting them on Youtube, and on the major streaming platforms. Alkaline was an Artist we believed in from the start, so it’s a blessing that we’re still working together in 2023.”

Kris Karz - Reciprocation on 13thStreetPromotions.com #Jamaica #Miami #Florida #Music

.@Kris_Karz Starts The Year Off With “Reciprocation”

Kicking off the new year with music is Producer/Recording Artist Kris-Karz! While he made a return to music releases late last year, he’s ready to take his career to the next level. With a project seeing a possible release later this year, Kris is setting up for a great rollout. Still relatively new to the scene as a Recording Artist, he is leaving great impressions with every song. We hope it doesn’t change with the release of the track, “Reciprocation“.

Turning up the tempo on this one, Kris-Karz gives us some slick lyrics paired with some jammin’ production that Musicians Keshawn Allen and Coombs assisted with (inspired by late Rapper Mac Miller’s “Self Care” album and made at Producer J.L.L.’s house) that is sure to make him stand out this year. Kris isn’t your average Producer, so you’re not gonna expect nothing less as an Artist. With lyrics that find him going through the adventures of love and relationships (with some back seat action going on), listeners will relate to this one, and definitely show it a lot of love. We look forward to the visual for this one. If you’re not familiar with Kris-Karz yet, check out his content here.
