RS

After being subjected to a few controversies this year, Raine Seville brushed them away and worked on her career. Tonight she was featured on Onstage. Here she spoke about being the rumored subject to Bugle’s “Nuh Compatible” song, addressing the rumor of her single “Mad Dem” being a response, her new single “Why Would You“, building the “Raine Seville” brand, and future projects. Interesting interview as this is her first time on Onstage. Raine also premiered the video for “Why Would You” which featured her daughter. Looking forward to more from Ms. Seville. NEW MUSIC: @RaineSeville x @KingBeenieMan – You Choose

Today’s new music comes from Raine Seville and Beenie Man, and this is for the adventurous lovers. Titled “You Choose“, and produced by Locke City Music Group, we hear Beenie Man dropping lyrics about how he will turn on his lady and give her a most pleasurable experience while Raine sings that they can do it wherever, whenever and however. Not a bad collaboration, Raine has been working on being consistent this year and Beenie Man always manages to get radio play. What do you think of the song? OLDIES SUNDAY: Alton Ellis – Willow Tree (1967)

After dropping Raine Seville’s “Willow Tree” yesterday, I felt it was only right to play one of the original songs. Today I feature a song by the late Alton Ellis a.k.a. the GodFather of Rocksteady. Titled “Willow Tree” and produced by Coxsone Records in 1967, this was a cover of Chuck Jackson’s “My Willow Tree” which was done in 1962 but never made it to the music charts. This song is about finding new song all while sparing the “Willow Tree” from sharing the pain of past failed relationships.

NEW MUSIC: @RaineSeville – Willow Tree

willow tree

Today’s new music comes from singer Raine Seville. Titled “Willow Tree” and produced by Locke City Music Group, this is a cover version of the late Alton Ellis’ 1967 single of the same name with a little twist. This song is about finding new love and sparing the “Willow Tree” from crying  for Raine’s past experiences. As the lyrics say once a tear has fallen, the willow tree weeps eternally but Raine  made it clear that she won’t cry over past associates and shall move on with her life. A good effort from Raine, fresh off her controversial single with Konshens, this single hears her saluting a legend and her being able to move on from situations. What you think of the song? Check it out below and share your thoughts in the comments section.

NEW VIDEO: @OnstageTV Interviews @BugleMusic

BugleOnstage

Fresh off the increasing buzz of his single “Nuh Compatible“, Bugle linked up with Winford Williams for an Interview. Here he spoke about his hit single and if it was a shot at his ex girlfriend Raine Seville, his way of creating music, and his upcoming projects. Cool Interview, I see Bugle has changed his appearance a bit but I do hope his single gets bigger over the time. Check out the video below and share your thoughts in the comments section.
