We have featured his work, recently reviewed his “Savage” EP and now it’s time to personally introduce you to the Hip Hop enthusiast that goes by the name, Daley. Some of you may have recently known him as Tazz or even Dalai of the “High Tunez Gang” and “KMT“, but he is the one same original Montego Bay native now making a name for himself in South Florida. Now on the verge of releasing a followup to his 2016 project, let’s kick things into a higher gear with our first Interview with an Artist living completely outside the Jamaican space!

@RudeJerms Brings The Crew Out In New Visual For “Why Me”

The ongoing relationship with Dancehall Music and the Trap Music sub genre of Hip Hop seems to be a promising one. With influences from acts like Migos, Travis Scott, and Lil Uzi Vert to name a few, expect many established and upcoming acts to expand their creativity. Recently we featured a Mix from Jamaican Rapper Jermani and DJ Mac, and today we feature a visual from the single, “Why Me“. Shot and directed by Deth (a.k.a. “ShotByDeth“), Jerms fires off bars while his crew holds it down in the night. The Lo Flame production gives off an eerie sound fitting the video’s dark setting and makes you pay attention while Jerms tells you what his RUDE life is like. Why pree my G? It’s no secret that Hip Hop and Dancehall have been close siblings over the years. With the increasing popularity of the “Trap Music” genre, there have been more Artists crossing over to get a new audience and test out a new style in their craft. In Jamaica, it has seen its increase starting in late 2015 and newcomer Jermani aims to solidify his name out there with his “Pop Champagne Mix“. With DJ Mac overseeing, Jermani lets listeners in on his “Rude Boy Ting” lifestyle over various original and popular Production. He recently spoke on his debut project stating that it’s his way of bringing a unique sound to the game, showing listeners that he can be versatile in subject matter, and aims to stand out not only in the Jamaican Hip Hop scene, but worldwide.

It’s…Addi Di Teacha along with TSD! Yes, you read that right, Rapper The Sickest Drama has a song with the “World Boss“, Vybz Kartel. Titled “Never Back Down“, the track was produced by Inztinkz and features the lyrical Artists going at it bar for bar. Expect the usual flipping lyrics from the Word smiths, and expect to be blown away as the First Coast Movement and the Portmore Empire join forces! Inztinkz and TSD are currently working on super group The Council’s debut album which is set to be released in 2017. US based Rapper Zuse has been on the radar of many since his debut. The Jamaica born Rapper never stopped repping Yaad and he continues to do so on his recently released Mixtape, “Trench Zuse“! A collaboration with Production Duo Nard and B, Zuse fires off lyrics about the Trap, the Zooly life, making something out of nothing, and showing love to his crew over some dark Production with assistance from XL, DJ Spinz, Jay Nasty, Bobby Kritical and DJ Plugg. The Council Holds Over Fans With The “Forgotten Parables” EP!

Jamaican Hip Hop Super Group The Council, which comprises of Five Steez, Inztinkz, Nomad Carlos and The Sickest Drama, is currently working on the “Nothing Else Matters” Album. With over a year since their debut single and a few weeks since their 2nd single, they aim to hold over fans with their 2 track EP titled “Forgotten Parables“. Produced by Inztinkz and featuring Arofat, Julio Sluggz and Wallabee, the Group explained that these songs were made years prior to the formation of the Group and it was only right to set them free and show listeners that it was written for them to work together exclusively. “Nothing Else Matters” sees a 2017 release but for now, check out the EP below and share your thoughts in the comments section.
