Today’s entry comes from Bronx based rapper Hop Da Great. Titled, “In Too Deep“, this is his remake of the 1992 classic “Deep Cover” by Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre. In the video we see Hop and his crew chase down a bootlegger for selling unauthorized copies of his mixtape, “The Unusual Gift“. Short but cool video, haven’t seen a bootlegger themed rap video in a while, and Hop did well over the Deep Cover beat as it is a classic. NEW VIDEO: @KendrickLamar – BackSeat Freestyle

Well this dropped unexpectedly. Kendrick Lamar made a video for the very popular ‘BackSeat Freestyle” track found on his debut album. Shot between Compton and Paris, France, Kendrick drops very dope lyrics over black and white imagery. Pretty cool video, I like how one of the skits managed to be visualized half way in the video as well. Sherane has a nice booty. NEW VIDEO: @Maga2daZeen x @Wale – Black Panamera (Remix)

After premiering the single a few months ago, Magazeen finally drops the video for Black Panamera. Wale hops on it as well to declare it a remix. Together they drop lifestyle lyrics all while being surrounded by the crew, girls, and of course the black Porsche Panamera. The Funky Munky has held hostage by a fusion of Hip Hop and Reggae acts on December 15 and there was no possibility of a successful negotiaiton. NEW VIDEO: @Pusha_T x @PopcaanMusic x @TrvissXX – Blocka

Rapper Pusha T visited Jamaica recently and made links with deejay Popcaan for a song called “Blocka“. Today the video makes it’s way to the Internet. Directed by JayWill and shot in Kingston, the video showcases Pusha T giving you a look into the happenings on the streets all while showing you parts of Kingston many have never seen. Lots of gang members in the video, guns too, Pusha T walks through the streets like a king and Popcaan makes you know what to expect in the beginning.
