The “World Boss” is really living up his role as one of the hardest working Deejays despite his current situation. Earlier, the good folks at Major Lazer unleashed a special remix of the Nicki Minaj and PartyNextDoor featured “Run Up” with vocals from Vybz Kartel! Kicking it off with “Gaza Nation!“, Kartel goes into overdrive as he gives the ladies the lyrics that will have them clinging on to him like magnet to steel. He also made reference to having fun at the popular Summer Party series, Dream Weekend. A single that has had its share of remixes (including a Konshens Remix, and one by Dancehall Artist Khxos), but of course a Vybz Kartel version will make its rounds in various parties. Recording Artist Alexx A-Game has been pretty busy in recent times, but he had his moments where he surprises us with new music. Recently, he teamed up with Manchester, UK based DJ/Production Collective Swing Ting and it resulted in a remix to his very popular single, “A-Game Everyday“. A song that has been an anthem for the Blog and our affiliate Blaze 876 Radio, Swing Ting took A-Game’s vocals and brought their unique sound which was provided by members DJ Platt and DJ Samrai, and lifted the track up on another level! Jamaican Producer Krs. has been making a name for himself for quite a while with his original Productions. The founder of Film Noir, he has produced many remixes and has been a part of many singles locally and Internationally including Canadian Artist Roy Woods’ “Gwan Big Up Urself“! Recently he got a hold of R&B Recording Artist Brandy’s classic “I Wanna Be Down” and worked his Production magic on it. Giving the 1994 single a face lift, Krs. takes the track on a Caribbean trip and even adds a Popcaan dubplate at the end as an added bonus.
