Speaking his mind today on Dancehall is Atlanta based artist, Dreggae. Titled “Dancehall Dead!” and featured on Yellow Moon Records’ “Wul Dem Again” Riddim, Dreggae speaks on his distaste for some of the content coming out from the genre. Here he lashes out on artists copying one another, unnecessary beefs,  artists more about the materialism and “badness”, not focusing on true lyricism and other issues. With the way Dancehall has been going lately, it’s only right that artists like Dreggae step out with something different and break out of the monotony. What do you think? Check out the track below and share your thoughts in the comments section.

NEW MUSIC: @MasickaMusic – Cyah Frighten We (Demarco Diss)

Masicka

With his name being mentioned during a war of words between Konshens and Demarco, Masicka did what any other artist would do and hit the recording booth. Aiming at Demarco is his effort titled “Cyah Frighten We“. Produced by Razzle Music, the Young General threw dart after dart at the “Puppy Tail” Deejay and makes it known that he’s not afraid of him. He also paid respect to other well respected lyricists in Dancehall. With Demarco and Konshens’ battle somewhat swept under a rug as of late, would a new one with Masicka be something to look forward to? Dancehall is very well known for the lyrical clashes so I guess we should stay tuned. Check out the track below and share your thoughts in the comments section.

NEW MUSIC: @IShawna – Domesticated

Ishawna-Domesticated-_1-700x700

Having one up on the other women today is Dancehall artist IShawna with “Domesticated“. Produced by Justus of Jamaica Production, IShawna makes it clear that while she has the looks, she can get down when it comes to housework, staying armed with great culinary skills, while being an awesome lover. She gets at those who want to be the “Wife” type but can’t even prepare a proper meal or take care of their man. I like this one from her, and many can hear this and work on stepping their game up. Check out the track below and share your thoughts in the comments section.
