Today’s Oldies Sunday selection comes from the beautiful living legend and Queen of Reggae, Marcia Griffiths. Titled “Melody Life” and produced in 1968 by the late Sir Coxsone Dodd at Studio One, Marcia sings about not seeing the benefits in the long run for being promiscuous and she urges people to settle down with the one person who loves and cares for them. Such a beautiful song and Marcia Griffiths has such a lovely voice.

Today’s new music comes from Digicel Jamaica’s Ambassador and Best Cultural Artist winner at the 2013 Youth View Awards, I-Octane. Titled “Pretty Little Flower” and produced by Troyton Music on the Contagious Riddim, Octane sings about a lovely lady in his life describing her as a pretty little flower and an angel. Happy Valentine’s Day!

After announcing his comeback with the single, Justin Timberlake recruits Jay-Z for the music video for “Suit & Tie“. Directed by David Fincher, it features JT performing on stage his single in both a Theatre and Nightclub setting while Jay-Z joins him at the Nightclub and in the Recording Studio for his part.
