unnamedWith Reggae and Dancehall Music being infused in various genres over the years, many artists and producers have seen it as a way to create new and fantastic sounds that will bring people together to enjoy it. With their own genre termed “RaggaTronic“, a mix of Dancehall, Reggae, Soca, EDM, Tropical Bass, and Moombahton comes the Brooklyn collective named We Chief with their new single. Titled “Gyals From Brooklyn” and features Da Professor, this is an electrifying track that encourages listeners to get their bodies moving to the beats, breaking speakers, disturbing quiet neighbourhoods, and having fun to this blend of genres. this sounds like a summer hit and great artwork by Flyland Designs as well. NEW MUSIC: @MasickaMusic x @ShanMarieMusic x @AddisPablo – Lighters

Today’s music comes from a “Three The Hard Way” combination of Deejay Masicka, Singer Shanique Marie, and Muscian Addis Pablo. Titled “Lighters” and produced by Equiknoxx Music, we hear Masicka deejaying about wanting a better life and celebrating it rather than suffering. Shanique handles the hook duties and Addis Pablo gives us a dope Melodica solo to help further channel the “Bird Sound Power” of Equiknoxx Music. A nice selection here which could seem odd to some. With a blend of tracks recorded during his “Blakkamoore Chronicles” tour comes a new mixtape from Jahdann Blakkamoore, Renu Music Group and Secure Dem Sound. Titled “The Blakkamoore Chronicles Vol 1.: Ready We Gone“, this is almost an hour of Dubstep, Dancehall, Trap and Hip Hop themed tracks and remixes that speak on the artist’s life, music and culture. It’s all about the rude boys in Singer Toian’s new single. Titled “Rude Boys” and produced by Class One Music Co., she speaks on having a thing for the bad boys, not taking heed to her mom’s warnings about how they’ll break her heart, and seeing them for more than just being rude boys. Not a bad song here, they always say that the good girls like the bad boys so Toian is just sharing her thoughts. This is off her upcoming EP, “Retrospect“.
