With a single from an unlikely pairing comes the music video for Vybz Kartel and Toian’s “Ice Queen“. Directed by Sean Alaric, Toian speaks to Vybz via Videochat about deception while viewing some great shots of dancing, Toian, and of course things that represent “cold“. Reggae Music owned a part of last night’s festivities and one artist to play her role was IKaya. Here she delivered a few of her singles, covered “Drunk In Love” and even had Brown Shuga accompany her for a song. Making a triumphant return to Sting was the “Fire Man” Capleton. Commanding a great portion out of the event, Capleton ran through many of his top hits to much delight of the audience. In the early morning of Sting 2014, two of the most anticipated clashes happened with Black Ryno vs Kiprich and Tommy Lee Sparta vs Gage. With some delays things kicked off with Tommy Lee Sparta vs Gage with Ryno joining in. Following this was Black Ryno vs Kiprich which went on for a while till it got physical and abruptly ended the Dancehall/Reggae event. Good to see that Tommy Lee and Gage didn’t get physical but I was disappointed in the Ryno/Kiprich altercation. More performances to come.
