A few weeks ago, Vybz Kartel was not only found guilty of his crimes, but was also handed a life sentence. While many celebrated or felt disappointed, TVJ’s Anthony Miller released a documentary on the Dancehall Artist up to his sentencing. Titled “Dancehall Dark Star“, we see clips that chronicle Kartel’s journey from a new act working with Bounty Killa, his own fame, feuds and his arrest. Lucas DiPasquale is a singer who covers popular songs on his Youtube channel and in his latest video he covers Dancehall’s own Popcaan. With the help of a microphone and guitar, Lucas gives us acoustic versions of Popcaan’s hits. Very great effort here as he caught the lyrics that were done in Patois (Jamaican creole) very well.
