Don’t Miss A Tick, Don’t Miss A Tock In @OfficialBigLean’s “Stamina”!

Our Jamaican culture continues to be undefeated when it comes to influencing music. Canadian Recording Artist Big Lean is one of those who embraced the culture and made it a part of the music. Born to Jamaican Immigrants, he has been making noise for some time. Recently he premiered his single and music video, “Stamina“. Directed by Zac Facts, Big Lean shares a little of his “Yardie” side and speaks on his Mom wanting Grandkids, shows off that he can “Handle di wuk” once he downs a Dragon Stout, instructs his lady to “wine pon di ting“, is a “Gallis inna real life” and states “Me likkle but me tallawah“. With Producer Sevn Thomas handling the beat, this makes to be an easy going listen from Big Lean. Something to grab a gal and slow wine with. A so yuh fi wine baby! Check out the video below and share your thoughts in the comments section.

Chip Off The Old Block: Meet The New Kids Of Dancehall x Reggae (Pt. 1)

First they started out as the youth of the Dancehall/Reggae culture, now they’re parents with growing kids. It isn’t unusual for the child of an Entertainer to follow in their parent’s footsteps one way or the other as at times they bring a modern take on their parent’s creations, or create their own lane. Some of the most famous off springs include Stephen, Ziggy, and Damian “Junior Gong” Marley (Sons of Bob Marley), Chino and Di Genius (Sons of Freddie McGregor), Junior Tucker (Son of Jimmy Tucker), Morgan Heritage (Children of Denroy Morgan), Tarrus Riley (Son of Jimmy Riley), Queen Ifrica (Daughter of Derrick Morgan), Protoje (Son of Lorna Bennett), Chronixx (Son of Chronicle) and many more. Today in a few part series, I feature some of the new set of kids on the scene whose parents have covered much ground in their respective careers.

NEW VIDEO: @Trabass_TV – Make Love

Time to roll with a brother girl. Today’s new music video comes from Andrew Trabass. Titled “Make Love“, we see the members of Team Trabass interacting with some young ladies at a house. The video then shifts its focus on Trabass encouraging his love interest to make love to a “Yardie“. Very clean video here, a decent effort from Andrew Trabass as he has been wearing the artist hat more recently. What do you think of the video?
