NEW VIDEO: @OnstageTV Interviews @DuttyPaul

SPWith his first Sumfest performance in 10 years coming up, Sean Paul touched base with Winford Williams tonight on Onstage. Here he spoke about his “Full Frequency” album, experimenting with different genres of music and collaborating with international artists, trying to bring Dancehall music to more places in the world, trying his hand at music production, having difficulties breaking his new music in the United States, being big and touring in various countries, using social media to further reach his fans, thoughts on people trying to discredit his nationality despite waving the Jamaican flag worldwide, focusing on the music more than the accolades, focusing on more unity in Jamaica, Sumfest, and much more. Since his start, Sean Paul has been doing his best to bring Dancehall in many places with his many hits, while he has his detractors, I respect that he went outside the box with his music. Check out his interview below and share your thoughts in the comments section.

Mrv

After being at odds with Reggae artist I Octane over who should close down Reggae Sumfest, Mr. Vegas stepped on the Onstage set to speak his mind with Winford Williams. Here he spoke about not having a “war” with I Octane, his thoughts on artists closing down Sumfest and the media not giving other artists who’ve done so before any major attention, thoughts on Reggae artist Chronixx, introducing his artist Latty J, Vybz Kartel’s incarceration, Bounty Killa, and his upcoming Sumfest performance. I liked that Onstage got both sides to this “beef”, I know both will do their best at the event. Check out the video below and share your thoughts in the comments section.
