NEW VIDEO: @OnstageTV Interviews @TOKJamaica

TOK

With a career spanning over 15 years, T.O.K. is Jamaica’s first Dancehall Quartet and with a new EP, they visited Winford Williams to discuss a few matters. Here they spoke on maintaining the friendships and careers for so long, their almost break up, their side ventures, touring, their “Taking OverEP and Reality Show, and upcoming performances. Not a bad interview here, I’m impressed that despite the breakups of many crews and friendships in Dancehall music, they’ve managed to hold it together throughout all this time. NEW VIDEO: @OnstageTV Interviews @KevinLyttle

KL

After having a monster hit in 2003 with “Turn Me On“, St. Vincent native Kevin Lyttle has managed to have a good music career but tonight he spoke with Winford Williams about his life since that song. Here he spoke about his relationship with Atlantic Records, his hit single and album including the success from them, losing his mother, maintaining his music career despite not having a bigger hit than “Turn Me On“, his start in the music business, endorsement deals, his single with Shaggy (Feel So Good), and more. Good to see Kevin still doing things for himself since that hit. While many may call him a “One Hit Wonder“, he managed to make that success stretch. Check out the video below and share your thoughts in the comments section.

NEW MUSIC: @AgentSasco x Zinc Fence Records – Badda Dan Dem (Dub)

AS

Dropping new music is the combination of Zinc Fence Records and Agent Sasco. Doing a dubplate version to his “Badda Dan Dem (Rude Boy Shuffle)” single which was produced by Teflon and SOS Dynamikz, we hear Sasco dropping retro styled lyrics and showing off the “Rude Boy” persona over a production that would have you skanking while keeping a keen ear to the lyrics. This a is very dope creation here that will definitely get multiple replays, and the occasional “Buss A Blank” gesture. This version is not for the softies. Check out the track below and share your thoughts in the comments section.

NEW VIDEO: @Mavado_Gully – My Own/Paypa

MAvado

It’s all about building from the ground up and having your own empire today thanks to Mavado’s latest visual. Titled “My Own/Paypa” and directed by Shutah Films, we see the “Gully God” celebrating the good life and makes it known that he has no time for time wasting, it’s all about the riches. Featuring cameos from the likes of DJ Khaled and Toian, this a very clean visual and the video will cover plenty ground just like the singles in the streets.
