Blvk H3ro has been toiling hard over these past few years to get here. With numerous singles, projects, and stage performances, he finally releases his debut album, “The Immortal Steppa“. Released through DubShot Records/BHM, we get 14 tracks that aims to capture the world’s attention. With production from Dennis “Greatest” Hamilton, The Grei Show, Kris Karz, Palace Pikney, SNR, JLL, BoomDraw, Kone, Wavy Jones, Bastido, Alexandre Hostein, and Guerilla Music Productions, Blvk gets assistance for his lyrics that’ll have you thinking, moving, and enjoying yourself. With influences from Stevie Wonder (whose “Superstition” track he covers), Michael Jackson (he sampled on “M.A.R.Y.“), Marijuana, and Rastafari, Blvk called in IOTOSH, Leno Banton, and Royal Blu to join in on the exhibition of great music. For those thinking that the project would completely have all new music, the favourites “H3rb“, “M.A.R.Y.“, and “SkyDive” off “The H3rb Connoisseur” were added. .@BoomDrawOfFizix Blesses The Internet With Some “Jamaican Nujabes”!

Where are the Anime lovers? Were you one of those folks who subscribed to CrunchyRoll and tuned in to Cartoon Network’s “Toonami” segment? What were your go to Anime shows? Inspired by the production of the late Japanese Producer Jun Seba a.k.a. “Nujabes“, Jamaican Producer BoomDraw steps out with his first Dancehall Riddim in over 3 years titled, “Jamaican Nujabes“.

A Riddim that you can really deliver some thought provoking lyrics on, BoomDraw shared that the melodies were inspired by the works of Nujabes as he produced the soundtrack for one of his go to Anime shows, “Samurai Champloo“. One of Boomdraw’s favourite Producers, he wanted to channel the Nujabes’ eclectic approach to putting together sounds, and inject into his Dancehall creations. Boomdraw went on to say, “I wanted the track to feel very vibrant and transport the listener into a carefully constructed soundscape that would bring feelings of euphoria. I feel very satisfied with how the final product turned out and I’m very excited to share it with the listeners.” This production is a follow up to BoomDraw’s “Juss Beats” compilation he released in January.

Think you can drop a song on the beat? The Riddim can be found below, and will be available on popular Streaming platforms on Friday February 8.

Known for holding his own as a Rapper, the “Make Me Feel” Producer felt it was time for fans of his work to show off their skills on one of his productions. To enter, entrants should follow his Instagram at @SOSDynamikz, visit Soundcloud.com/SOSDynamikz, download the track “Sinister – Freestyle Challenge“, record your best verse lasting up to 1 minute, and post on Instagram tagging @SOSDynamikz and #SinisterChallenge. If the recording is longer, then the entrant may direct listeners to their respective platforms.
