Despite the controversy last week, there’s no denying that Chronixx makes great music and it’s evident in his latest offering. Titled “Play Some Roots” and produced by Silly Walks Discotheque on the Ram Jam Riddim, the Dread and Terrible artist gives us the type of music that’ll get you off your feet and starting skanking. Wonderful production here from Silly Walks as this is a part of a Riddim compilation that features Shaggy, L.U.S.T., Dalton Harris and many more. What do you think of this new Chronixx? Titled “Needle Eye” and produced by Brixton Music Group, she’s as sexual as ever, but does it effortlessly over an old school Dancehall styled riddim. Spice ensures listeners know she’s a lady in the street, but a bedroom bully behind closed doors. Got to respect Spice’s hustle as she keeps dropping song after song, video after video, and she constantly tours. Showing another side to her music on this Easter Monday is Dancehall artist Shie with a new single. Titled “Tek Dat” and produced by GHG Productions out of Ghana on the “Apple Riddim“, Shie speaks on being a bad girl, what it takes to being a hot girl, having her own way, and getting anything she wants with ease over the Reggaeton influenced production. Rock City have been in the music business for a pretty long time and have worked with the likes of Akon, Rihanna, Jennifer Hudson and much more.
