Shock value is a hell of a thing, but it’s the norm for upcoming deejay Alkaline. He was recently interviewed on TVJ’s ER by Anthony Miller and answered a few questions. He spoke about his newly tattooed eyes (Sclera Tattoo) and reactions, what he wants to bring to Dancehall music. Short interview but it has many people talking. Gaza Slim today released the music video for her single “Wine“. Directed by DK Konsepp, we see Gaza Slim writing songs and showing us and her friends the the kind of wine she uses to “hold” her man. The black and white video treatment is cool but I think this looks better in colour. Vybz Kartel is her desktop background. Check out the video below and share your thoughts in the comments section.

Noisey Jamaica is back again with another episode of the “Noisey Jamaica Dancehall Show“. Today host Codine Williams showcases Dancehall star Konshens. Here we see him rehearsing his “Bubble” hit at Alternative Studios for his upcoming Reggae Sumfest performance. Joining him his with entourage en route to Montego Bay, Codine witnessed Konshens interacting his crew and fans, telling her about his start in the music business, his first performance in Japan, how Reggae and Dancehall artists have a very powerful influence and need to utilize it more, and many more topics. Great video, I like that Codine got to travel with Konshens and just be a part of the crew. Check out the video below and share your thoughts in the comments section.
