After releasing his “For The Dreamers” visual last week, Rapper Daley premieres the trailer for his upcoming project, “Frustrated Dreamer“! Giving a behind the scenes look into his creative process, fans of his previous project (Savage) and newcomers will be in tune with new lyrics, new production, and new vibe to rock with. “Frustrated Dreamer” will be out on July 27. While Popcaan enjoyed play time on the 2K16 edition, Recording Artist Sean Paul joins the line up for the Soundtrack for NBA 2K18! Featuring his 2016 “No Lie” collaboration with UK Artist Dua Lipa, players can rock to the soundtrack which also adds old school Hip Hop, Rock, and some of the more recent hit songs out there. “No Lie” was released last November on Island Records, and has since been certified Gold in the UK, Platinum in France, and has peaked to #2 in Hungary and the Czech Republic music charts. Jamaica, Land We Love. Many outsiders know of the Resorts, the Beaches, living the “Island Life“, but there’s another side to our beautiful Island that is at times exposed. Following the death of a close friend, Recording Artist and Montego Bay, St. James resident Jeeby Lyricist released the visuals for “Mobaby“. Featuring Miss Jamaica Universe 2016 Isabel Dalley, and various clips highlighting Montego Bay in recent times, the visual sheds a light on both the beautiful and ugly sides of this location as it’s a haven for Tourists and great Businesses, but a place where Crime has been a huge thorn in its side. Delivered over a beat remake of Jidenna’s “Bambi” from The Kash, this has been a favourite of ours for the month and the song can be seen on the same level as Protoje’s “BLXXD MONEY”. In a move to expand the scope of its Drink Right initiative, Red Stripe hosted a ‘Bikers Roll Out’, geared at encouraging motorcyclists to not only drink responsibly, but also drive responsibly on the nation’s roads.
The snarling sound of motorcycles could be heard along the Spanish Town Road as close to 100 bikers made their way through the congested Friday afternoon traffic onto Red Stripe’s headquarters. The informative and entertaining programme featured presentations from key partners from the Traffic Division of the Jamaica Constabulary Force; the Road Safety Unit in the Ministry of Transport and Mining, and helmet supplier Superior Parts Limited.
