PRESS RELEASE: @Gage_Almighty @TommyLeeSparta @RymeMinista Prepared For Battle

unnamed (1)

A major showdown is in the works for Magnum Sting 2014. Supreme Promotions has already secured four of the“baddest” stars that are presently shining in the dancehall space. Tommy Lee Sparta is signed off to bring “Bay Badness” to Jamworld, his sound-a-like, Gage the “walking gun” is also confirmed, Western heavy weight Ryme Minista has already been contracted leaving the self-proclaimed “youngest and baddest”, Alkaline to finalize by sealing the deal and proving himself on dancehall’s ultimate stage.

The Sting stage has been a testing ground over the years; this is where the biggest stars solidify themselves as icons and become leaders of the game. Participating in clashes, win, lose or draw gains respect and additional credit from fans across the globe: Shabba Ranks, Ninjaman, Supercat, Mad Cobra, Bounty Killer, Beenie Man and more recently Vybz Kartel and Mavado can attest to this fact.

This year highlights a new generation of stars, who are all ready for the biggest challenge of their careers. According to Tommy Lee Sparta, “Last year mi could easy well tek on Kiprich inna the clash but the accident and broke foot hold me back pon mi cotchy. Right now mi hear the crow them a cry, so them ready to die… some man a talk big, so them better can back it. Gage you better stay home, Alkaline you seh you a the youngest but we will see who a the baddest.”

Gage’s team shares the same perspective in relation to clashing. According to his agent, Cornelius Daley, “Gage a the walking gun, anything test dead. We nah back! Alkaline is just the youngest and foolest. Anybody put them foot cross dead, Tommy Lee, Alkaline anybody.”

Ryme Minista has been creating havoc from the Western region and is skyrocketing in prominence. “On the battle field you have to be prepared for anything that come cross. Anybody anytime, mi ready,” Ryme Minista answered, when asked about participating in a clash.
He is currently fully booked for the month of December, which includes his first overseas engagement in Costa Rica. He also has a hot new collaboration with Mavado titled, “Kill and Get Weh” that is already a hit in the streets.

On Boxing Day this new breed is among the most anticipated to hit the stage. They will be starring in prime time and will be in full gear at the place where the baddest rules, Magnum Sting.

TLS

Since his debut, Tommy Lee Sparta has been through a few things. From meeting in an accident to troubles with the law to suspicions of him crying in a recorded phone conversation, Tommy Lee stepped on Onstage to have a chat with Winford Williams. Here he spoke about the recorded conversation, Vybz Kartel, his career so far and squashing talks of his popularity dying down, touring and his experiences, his situation in Dominica, new music including an album and tracks being a part of projects overseas, his fan base, and more. Tommy also premiered his “Dream” music video. Was he taking a shot at Alkaline with him not being the youngest but the baddest line? I do hope Tommy Lee can overcome his current situations and continue to work on his career. Check out the videos below and share your thoughts in the comments section.
