Burna Boy is like a Locomotive, he just keeps going. Fresh off of sold out concerts, a special trip to Jamaica, and the recent release of his Apple Music Live Film, he’s loading up the machine to get his upcoming “I Told Them” album in motion. He kept things interesting with “Sittin’ On Top Of The World“, and now we get “Big 7“.

Directed by acclaimed Director Benny Boom and shot in New York, Burna Boy is on his “NY Sh**“, and he’s taking on the city like the African Giant he is. The video finds him at the Ball Park, at the Bodega, and the Pizza Parlour, and he connects with the likes of Hip Hop legends RZA (Wu Tang Clan), Busta Rhymes ,and members of Junior M.A.F.I.A. “Spiderverse” Actor Shameik Moore also makes a cameo appearance. “Big 7” is not only a track that finds Burna enjoying the spoils of his work (with a familiar sample), it’s more evidence of his growing global presence, and the name of his new Record label. Come August 25, the world will listen attentively to his new album, “I Told Them”.

It was gonna happen, and we’re glad it did. After taking over the place with his hit single “Talibans“, Byron Messia has been the talk of many towns. With arguably the hottest single of 2023, he has crossed over numerous markets, and various Artists (and AI) attempting remixes. With the week that Burna Boy has been having, it was only right that he officially released “Talibans II” with Messia.

Directed by 20K Visuals, Burna Boy and Byron Messia make the Nigeria x St. Kitts link up on “Talibans II”. They make for a great duo with their respective deliveries and lyrics, and we expect this one to do even more damage. The Artists are seen performing together with friends which include US Rapper Maxo Kream (who is from a Nigerian background), and UK Rapper Santan Dave (who also comes from a Nigerian background), and we see clips of Burna Boy’s birthday party that was held in Jamaica over the past weekend. We heard an AI version of Burna Boy performing “Talibans”, but his real version is even better. Get the guns ready.

Where are the Gamers? Recently, popular Racing Simulation series “Need For Speed” released their latest Video Game titled, “NFS Heat“! For those who are into Cars of all makes along with Nitro-burning speed, this one is sure to be a great addition to your collection. Along with the game comes a pretty heavy soundtrack that features Jamaica’s own DeeWUNN, Kabaka Pyramid, and Konshens on the tracks, “Back It Up, Drop It” (ft. Leo Justi), “Murder Music” (ft. Chase & Status), and “Reload” (ft. Eve) respectively. The soundtrack also features music from the likes of Latin Artists Zion Y Lennox, Toro Y Moi, and Alvaro Diaz, and Afrobeats Artist Burna Boy.

While these Artists are no strangers to being featured on various soundtracks over the years, they join the many who have had placements on the soundtracks for games like “Grand Theft Auto V” and the NBA 2K series. “NFS Heat” will be released on November 8, but check out the official Playlist below. Recently, he along with UK Producer Cadenza, teamed up with Pop Artist Jorja Smith and Afrobeats Artist Burna Boy for the hit, “Be Honest“. While it’s enjoying its run on various music charts, Izy Beats got in front of the camera to give viewers his beat breakdown. Presented by Universal Music Publishing Group, Izy gave us the BTS look at the many elements that make that sweet production.

With 2018 seeing him produce Koffee’s smash hit, “Toast“, Izy has been on a run of producing some dope things. From working with Charly Black, to working with Vybz Kartel, to releasing an EP with Tarrus Riley, to working with US R&B Artist Neyo, Izy Beats adds UK Pop star Jorja Smith to his resumé with the track, “Be Honest“! Featuring Burna Boy and co-production with UK Producer Cadenza, we get a fun track filled with Dancehall and Afrobeat influences, and Jorja and Burna showing great chemistry.
