@OneRomone Moves From Internet Sensation To Artist In “Your Turn”!

You’ve seen and enjoyed his Comedy skits for quite a while on Youtube, Instagram and Facebook, but recently Internet sensation OneRomone donned the role of “Recording Artist“. Teaming up with Zionnoiz Freeze Records, he releases “Your Turn“. The single blends Romone’s brand of Comedy with his newfound Dancehall powers and aims to get listeners dancing up a storm! Accompanied with the single is a Music Video shot in New York that showcases Romone along with top Choreographer Blacka Di Danca and fellow Dancers how they turn the energy up in Times Square. Romone joins the list of Entertainers who have gained massive thanks to the Social Media wave, and have now spread their wings to other ventures. What will Romone come up with next? “One Love, One Beat” is the message presented in today’s Lyric Video for “Bring The Beat“! As a part of Digicel’s “Bring The Beat” Campaign, the company has enlisted the likes of Usain Bolt, Machel Montano, Tessanne Chin and Producers Kickraux, Ricky Remedy, Anson Soverall for the single. With its mix of Island music and the mission to represent the Caribbean culture, sports, music and life, this comes ahead of the Olympic Games in Rio, Brazil in August with participation from many Caribbean Athletes. Jelani Paul of Untitled51 assists in animating the energetic lyrics and Production here. Time to “Buss di dance” and wave your flags this summer! @DonAndre Pays Tribute To @UsainBolt With “Jog (Remix)”!

New sensation, Don Andre has released the remix to his new track, Jog. This new version was inspired by, the fastest man alive, Usain Bolt. “Firstly, I am a huge fan of Bolt. He sends the message that anything is possible. He’s an icon no doubt. I rewrote the lyrics in his honor and for us to show our respect and cheer him on for possibly his final Olympics,” Don Andre says.

Over the weekend Don Andre performed, Jog – “The Bolt Remix” for the first time at Club Amazura in New York, to much excitement. Marvin “The Beast” led a troupe of skilled dancers that included international Choreographer, Blacka who has worked with Rihanna and Major Lazer. They completed an energetic set for the Soca vs Dancehall event.

You catch Don Andre in action this Saturday performing at the YMZ concert with Disney Channel Star Ross Lynch and his band R5, as well as Whip/Nae Nae singer, Silento, in addition to Bling Dawg. He is also billed to appear at Reggae Sumfest andPhiladelphia Jerk Festival on August 28th in Fairmount Park.

Geno Is Fresh Out Of The Blocks With “Party Tun Up”!

With only a year of being on the scene, “Fresh out of the blocks” is how you can describe this new, young, and vibrant Singer/Songwriter Sugeno Grant, otherwise known as Geno.

He might be new to the industry, but he definitely has his sights vividly set on the prize and is determined to make his name a household fixture, and dreams of being known worldwide. Ready to get his career off to a blazing start and poised to work with the best in the music Industry, Geno is determined to leave his mark on this planet. At a young age, Geno recognized his talent and decided that he wanted to use his unique sound, diverse writing style and inspirational lyrics to set himself apart from anyone. His creative process involves him writing songs while listening to the rhythm selections, meditating, and creating the ultimate vibe as he pens his lyrics. Giving a voice to the voiceless and taking Jamaica back to the being the wonderful Paradise it once was is Geno’s aim. While he hasn’t gotten an opportunity to collaborate with any established Artistes or perform on a live stage as yet, Geno knows that the people of Jamaica will be yearning for his music once it hits their ears. Geno currently has his music available on iTunes, including his single titled “Party Tun Up” which was produced by Notnice Records on the “Ova Dweet Riddim”.

Geno believes success is not handed to you, but hard work and determination is the key. His aim is to enhance the lives of the people by entertaining, inspiring, and educating them through self-expression.

We’ve featured this single a few months ago and heard greatness from what some may call a unique pairing but recently, Recording Artist Allan Kingdom took the trip to Jamaica, called up Chronixx and brought to us “Fables“. Directed by Martin C. Pariseau and starring Damanhi Mcghuie and Oprah Forknot, the Artists share their stories on breaking stereotypes, refuting things that they’ve heard about growing up to be fables, and standing out while connecting with nature. These lyrics blend in with the visual as we see a young man taking the trek to discover his own truth by leaving his home and finding a woman who lives by a river.
