Introducing to the Blog, is Recording Artist Zac Jone$! Bringing in his own flavour of “Yaard Rap” with his new project, “Ridin’ Thru King$ton“. This 5 track project is described as “A sonic joyride through KING$TON, Jamaica with Zac Jone$ at the wheel“, this features production from Negium, Felly, GamerBoomin, ICYTWAT, and MNSTRMKK with Felly, GYYPS and Benjamin contributing verses. The Jamaican Hip Hop movement has spread far and wide over the years and despite it not being as mainstream as its musical sibling, Dancehall, it has been on the radar of many top and upcoming Artists and Producers elsewhere. BIO

Deshae Raphael was born on December 21, 1994 and is professionally known by his stage name, Bones. He is a Jamaican Contortionist born in Kingston, Jamaica and was raised at 16 White Hall Avenue, Kingston 8. Bones earned public attention after performing at Hotels, family events, and Festivals, but he gained more exposure after entering KFC’s “On The Verge” Talent Show. He has also been featured on the Jamaican Comedy Show: the Ity & Fancy Cat show, Smile Jamaica, CVM At Sunrise and also performed in several Dancehall music videos. Bones is training to become one the most flexible persons in Jamaica as he has various styles that he has developed for years.

Fast-rising Dancehall Artiste G Mandingo is currently promoting his two latest songs, “Bounce Pon Dis” and “Girls Dem Nice”. “Bounce Pon Dis” is produced by G Mandingo while “Girls Dem Nice” is produced by upcoming Producer KC. Both songs are released on Di Balance Productions Label.

The songs, which are planned to be Summer hits, have been ripping up the airwaves on both the local and International scene. “The reception has been superb so far. So much so, that there is a debate as to which of the two songs are better. Radio and Mixtape Disc Jocks have rated these singles as the most creative effort that they have heard from me since the start of my career. Other people in the music industry love my latest efforts and have lauded me for the amount of growth that they have witnessed in my sound and productions over the years,” Expressed G Mandingo.

Upcoming Projects

Plans are on the way for the shooting and release of the videos for the songs that are currently being promoted by G Mandingo. Fans can also look out for the release of an upcoming EP entitled “DONWON” which is scheduled to be released later this year. “I am planning on releasing my EP titled “DONWON” in memory of my son Donwon “Buda” Shady who died in a tragic Bus accident on Easter Sunday.”

G Mandingo has been in the music industry for 5 years and has amassed a considerable amount of releases. The upcoming superstar is also known for songs such as “Everything Good”, “Tek Time Baby” and “Superstar”, all doing well on the local scene and the International market.

PRESS RELEASE: Spit Fiyah Banking On “Island Sun”

Emerging Singjay Spit Fiyah is hoping his latest song “Island Sun” will find favour among listeners.

“My aim was to sing about that type of person [who] you just can’t get enough of emotionally, physically, and mentally. That person who your love for them goes deeper than romance”

“Island Sun” is produced by Chinchilla Music and Dre Day Production. The single was released in April. According to Spit Fiyah, “Island Sun” has been receiving favourable reviews. He anticipates chart success. Available on iTunes, the Singjay said he’s been bumping up the promotions on Social Media. “I have had a fan from Alaska write to me about the song. I’ve been looking for a new sound and this is really satisfying,” he said.

Spit Fiyah (given name Antroy Palmer) said he knew music was his calling. “I used to write poems and people would say they like it, so a thought came to my mind to try and write a song. I then started off Rapping, but eventually found my way back to my roots of Dancehall/Reggae,” he said. His other release is “Love Me Song”.
