Recording Artist Jahmiel has been very consistent with the tunes in recent times. With hits under his belt, he’s working his way to becoming the MVP for 2016. Today, he premiered his visual for the “Where Were You / Great Man“. Directed by Mamaz Boiz Films, this visual comes in the form of a short film featuring Jahmiel, his friends, and of course a “Bad mind Producer“. From a scenario where he was rejected by said Producer to performing on Onstage to being interviewed, Jahmiel visually tells his story of his rise to stardom. A good concept here and this is only the sample of the greatness that’s to come from Jahmiel. Look out for his upcoming project with Quantanium Records. PRESS RELEASE: Kratos Promotes Dance Competition

With the song “Tip A Di Rifle” doing extremely well, Dancehall artiste Kratos has decided to step up the promotion with a female dance competition. The objective of the competition according to Kratos is to connect with his growing fan base. “The female population has been representing Kratos and I am doing this mainly to connect to my audience.” The deadline for submission is Saturday April 2, 2016 and all contestants have to do is to submit a 1 minute video dancing to the song “Tip A Di Rifle” to kratosdancecompetition@gmail.com .

Contestants are asked to submit their contact information and photo along with the video. All videos will be uploaded to Kratos Black Eagle Facebook page and the video with the most likes will be the winner of the competition. The winner will be getting USD $200 along with a signed T Shirt from the artiste. The winner will be announced on April 18, 2016.

When quizzed about the competition, Kratos had this to say, “My publicist and I sat long and thought about a campaign to work on and we decided to do a dance competition for the ladies. The song is geared towards the female population and they are loving it, so really we are doing this for them.”

The song has been getting tremendous acclaim in the streets and has been steadily rising on the airwaves. Kratos also shot the accompanying video for “Tip A Di Rifle”, which is in the final editing stage, so fans can look forward to a truly exciting video.

NEW MUSIC: @RoyceDa59 x @BlackThought x @AgentSasco – Rap On Steroids

Last night, Detroit Rapper Royce Da 5’9″ premiered his “Trust The Shooter EP” with fans rejoicing. With a 12 track set, many were prepared for deadly bars. What we didn’t expect was “Rap On Steroids“, a track that features Philly’s own Black Thought…and Jamaica’s own Agent Sasco! Produced by Jahlil Beats, Royce delivers hard punches to the gut, Black Thought sends jabs to the ribs and Sasco delivers the uppercuts with his Dancehall delivery. A surprise to many as Sasco has been making moves on the low over the years, although I wish he dropped 16 or even 32 bars. Maybe Royce has a few tricks up his sleeve on his upcoming “Layers” album. Lia Caribe on the other hand states she has no time for anything but the paper in her visual for the ZionnoizFreeze Records produced track, “Dolla Billz“. Directed by Icey Jace with BakerSteez using his editing magic, Lia says love can’t pay her bills and she wants the money to get what she needs. Watch her wash them at the laundromat, stacking them with her money machine, and of course getting to the cheddar with her friends. A clean visual that focuses on the “Money on my mind” statement, Lia will have viewers chanting the chorus in no time. There are many people in the world who may not be familiar with Ding Dong a.k.a. “World Ding“, but they know his songs and dances. From “Badman Forward, Badman Pullup” to “Syvah” to “Gas“, Ding has been steadily rising in fame. Recently he stopped by the Hot 97 Studio to chat with DJ Young Chow. Here the Dancer/Recording Artist spoke on his upbringing, being introduced to the Dancehall scene by Tony Matterhorn, his popularity over the years including crafting some of your favourite dances, working on music, wanting more International acts to work with Jamaican talent, showing off dances and more. He also taught DJ Young Chow his new dance, named “Twist Yuh Foot Dem“. Good to see Ding Dong on platforms like this, let’s see how he’ll dominate this year.
