Recording Artist Jahmiel has been an Artist to watch for quite some time now. With singles that slowly crept to many playlists and mixes, he has gained respect from many in the Music fraternity and has become a fan favourite. With a few hits under his belt, he stopped by the Onstage set to reveal what else he has in store. Here the “Young Lion” spoke about his performance at Rebel Salute 2016 with Mavado, the success of his recent hits, touring including his UK Tour with Kranium, his upcoming project with Quantanium Records, and delivering positive music. He also premiered his video for “Where Were You?/Great Man“. An Artist whose career I’ve respected for a long time, glad to see him elevating. Chip Off The Old Block: Meet The New Kids Of Dancehall x Reggae (Pt. 4)

First they started out as the youth of the Dancehall/Reggae culture, now they’re parents with growing kids. It isn’t unusual for the child of an Entertainer to follow in their parent’s footsteps one way or the other as at times they bring a modern take on their parent’s creations, or create their own lane. Some of the most famous off springs include Stephen, Ziggy, and Damian “Junior Gong” Marley (Sons of Bob Marley), Chino and Di Genius (Sons of Freddie McGregor), Junior Tucker (Son of Jimmy Tucker), Morgan Heritage (Children of Denroy Morgan), Tarrus Riley (Son of Jimmy Riley), Queen Ifrica (Daughter of Derrick Morgan), Protoje (Son of Lorna Bennett), Chronixx (Son of Chronicle) and many more. In part 4 of a few part series, I feature more of the new set of kids on the scene whose parents have covered much ground in their respective careers.

NEW MUSIC: @HardDayzSoReal – Selah x Feelz Good

It’s been a while since we’ve heard some music from Blu Rok’s Hard Dayz. Today we present to you not one, but two tracks from the “Greenz Yaadi“. In “Feelz Good“, we hear Dayz going into Dancehall/R&B mode by reaching out to the ladies over a groovy SOS Dynamikz Production. On “Selah“, Dayz brings it back to Hip Hop and goes in on his rise in the Rap game and warns his peers that he’s taking over everything over SOS Dynamikz’s dark Production. It looks like Dayz needed the vacation as he also makes us aware of his “Greenz Yaadi (Reinvented)” Project.
