Titled “Too Original” with Art Direction/Motion Design by John Hwang, we are treated to an animation filled with dancing feet with lyrics to the track displayed for you to sing along to. Loving this visual and the animation reminds me that I need to catch the latest episode of the Major Lazer cartoon. It’s been a while since we’ve gotten a YxB mixtape haven’t we? Well DJ Fire T went to the lab and returned with the first in his “Eargasmic Chronicles” series. Mastered by Zip 103 FM’s ZJ Chrome, Fire T brings all the Trap, Hip Hop and Dancehall music together to hold over fans till the next project. Dropping a song today that’ll make you feel stronger than steel are the likes of Major Lazer, Ellie Goulding and Tarrus Riley. Titled “Powerful“, Ellie drops love lyrics while Tarrus assists with the chorus over a heavy ML production. I can picture Ellie and Tarrus performing this to a crowd in the thousands waving lighters or cell phone lights (video idea maybe?). Last night, the creative minds at Major Lazer made their Television animation debut last night. During their debut they premiered one of their upcoming singles featuring Pusha T, 2 Chainz, Travi$ Scott and Jamaica’s own Mad Cobra. Titled “Night Riders“, the single showcases each artist dropping some fiery lines over Major Lazer’s unique production that fits as an alternative theme song for their show. Great single to listen to and Mad Cobra’s appearance is really awesome here. What do you think?
