NEW VIDEO: @SoulOnlineNet x JaneDoeSmith – Wet (Remix)

Popping Champagne, smoking Hookah, and partying the night away are the themes in this music video from Canada based producer SOUL a.k.a. DJ BLKLUOS and Rapper Jane Doe Smith. Titled “Wet (Remix)” and directed by Zac Facts, we see scenes of women enjoying liquor, smoking Hookah and Marijuana. We also see a lighted candle dripping wax, a glass being filled with water and honey which probably plays into the title of the song. The track is instrumental based where Jane Doe Smith handles the chorus and chants “Make Me Wet“. Great production, cool visual because let’s be honest, who doesn’t like seeing hot girls enjoying themselves? NEW VIDEO: @OnstageTV Interviews @ZJLiquid

After hitting the airwaves with his “Good Book” Riddim last year and lighting up radio and events, ZJ Liquid aims to bring more of that in 2015 and on Onstage he discusses that. Here he spoke on his career so far, the success of his “Good Book Riddim” being nominated at the Global Spin Awards overseas, delivering the good music worldwide, urging more work to be done to develop quality acts here, and aiming to top his last riddims. He also premiered his new “Fix Up Riddim” on Onstage Extra with Javada, Bryka, Kalado, iShawna, Quick Cook and Krymist. ZJ Liquid has done quite a lot of work over the years and his riddims have been big hits. Is 2015 another big year? Check the airwaves. Inspired by Dancehall music is T Pain’s latest single. Titled “Dis A My Ting“, this features Kardinal Offishall and an unnamed young lady on the chorus. Together they drop a little Dancehall and some Jamaican inflections in this bass heavy Hip Hop track. Interesting single from T-Pain but something you can play at ignorant levels. NEW MUSIC: @DavianahMusic – Music Madness

Aiming to break out of the monotony today is singer Davianah with her latest single. Titled “Music Madness” and produced by Mark “Genaral” Thompson for Thompson House Music, Davianah gets at artists who fail to bring more positive subject matter to their audience and break out of the continuous stream of sexually charged lyrics being played on the airwaves. She also warns that the youths are listening to them and they are not setting a great example for them to follow. Davianah delivers on this one as this is a song you should keenly listen to. While it is true many of us listen and enjoy the sexually charged lyrics, at times we must make room for more positive lyrics and guide the youth along the way. Don’t turn the music to madness.
