Dropping new music is the combination of Zinc Fence Records and Agent Sasco. Doing a dubplate version to his “Badda Dan Dem (Rude Boy Shuffle)” single which was produced by Teflon and SOS Dynamikz, we hear Sasco dropping retro styled lyrics and showing off the “Rude Boy” persona over a production that would have you skanking while keeping a keen ear to the lyrics. This a is very dope creation here that will definitely get multiple replays, and the occasional “Buss A Blank” gesture. This version is not for the softies. In preparation of their upcoming Mixtape, Deejay/Actor Benzly Hype (Me N Mi Kru/Innocent Kru) and DJ Scribz released a new song for “Uptown, Downtown and Roun’ Town“. Titled “Star“, we hear Benzly giving us a history lesson on his start with Innocent Kru, how effective he can be when he steps to the microphone, his displeasure for some of the new songs out and artists who bought their way to stardom, showing respect to some of his peers, and letting everyone know that he and Scribz are stars. A very entertaining song here, If you’re familiar with Benzly Hype and the Innocent Kru, you’ll know they create songs for every taste. Looking forward to the new mixtape and in the meanwhile check out Scribz’s
Today’s new music comes from a Jamaican One Man Band, Scotty + The DreamKillers. Titled “Keep It Rocking” and features a production from JLA, this features a great Michael Jackson sample (Rock With You) while Scotty raps about chasing his dreams, never slowing down on his work, pushing on despite challenges and keeping it rocking. A great effort here and being a Michael Jackson fan I love this production. For clarification, Scotty + The DreamKillers is really a One Man Band where “Scotty” is the rapper and “JLA” is the producer. With a mix of Hip Hop, Rock, Dub, and Reggae, look out for more work from the Band, I know I will. Check out the track below and share your thoughts in the comments section.
