US-based Dancehall Artist Tina (f.k.a. Hood Celebrityy) continues to be consistent with the music, and usher in new sounds and concepts. She aims to not only score new hits, but make music that lasts. There are different sides to her creativity, but this time around she’s connecting with the people in a deeper way. Earlier, she shared the video for the new single, “Peace Of Mind“.

Featuring Ghanaian Dancehall Artist StoneBwoy, Tina is reaching out to the world with the new collaboration called, “Peace Of Mind”. Shot in Ghana, we see the Artists connecting with the people, performing together, and promoting unity that other people and countries should adopt and endorse. “Peace Of Mind” was produced by Kofi Black and released through KSR, taps into the unique sounds from both Artists, shares their need for elevation and progress in life despite all that’s going on the world, giving thanks for their blessings, and is expected to cover more ground in the coming weeks. Tina Hops On A Classic Dancehall Riddim For “Lover Man”

Dancehall/Hip Hop Artist Tina (fka Hood Celebrityy) has been busy with the music, and she hasn’t shown signs of slowing down. Whether she’s rapping, singing, or deejaying, she’s not playing around, and her numbers are going up. Keeping the momentum going, she goes old school on her new release, “Lover Man“.

Hopping on the classic “Action Riddim“, Tina shares her love for the Man who knows how to handle business in “Lover Man”. She shares the qualities that have her attention, and she has no problem giving him her all. She emphasizes her point with a Music Video that finds her dancing it up on a Yacht, riding on the Bike back, and strolling through the streets in her Corvette. For those unfamiliar, the “Action Riddim” was produced by Dave Kelly, and released in 1993 through his Madhouse label. The Riddim featured hits by Nadine Sutherland and Terror Fabulous, Carol Gonzalez, Buju Banton, General Degree, Wayne Wonder and Don Yute, Daddy Screw, and many more. Tina Drops “HoodCelebrityy” Name, Releases “I’m Back (Remix)” With Bounty Killa!

Dancehall/Hip Hop Artist Hoodcelebrityy has been on a mission to make some changes in her life. One of the changes she made recently, was dropping the “Hoodcelebrityy” name, and now going by “Tina“. Her music has taken on some change as well, but it still hits hard whenever it drops. She recently released the single, “I’m Back“, and now she gives us the remix with a Dancehall legend.

Collaborating with the “Warlord” Bounty Killa, Tina gets things shaking on “I’m Back (Remix)“. Trading lyrics with a legend, Tina sounds like she’s going to make a bigger impact this year. Produced by Troyton Rami/Black Shadow Music, the Artists tap into the classic “Buzz Riddim” which featured the timeless Sean Paul hit, “Gimme Di Light“. Bounty has been busy releasing singles over the past few months, and his collab with Tina may bring an extra dose of energy, and open up more doors for International collaborations. Tina is said to be working on a new album, so expect to hear a lot more from her in the coming weeks.

Barrington Levy Gets Sampled On @MeganRyte’s “On & On”!

If you’re familiar with Hot 97, you’re aware of one of their personalities, DJ Megan Ryte. Recently she announced that she has signed with Interscope Records, and in celebration of her achievement, she released her debut single, “On & On“! Produced by MyBoyRoach, this blends some Caribbean vibes thanks to Tory Lanez, Hood Celebrityy, and the legendary Barrington Levy who appears as a sample. The song, which aims to prep listeners for the Summer fun and love, sampled Levy’s 1994 single “Be Strong“. Produced by Levy and released through the Lipstic Label, “Be Strong” was featured on his 1993 project, “Barrington“, and given the acoustic treatment on his Album “Acousticalevy” which was released in 2015. The song finds Levy trying to do right with his lady, but is bombarded with a lot of trials throughout. The Artwork for “On & On” was also inspired by Levy’s 2008 Album, “Teach The Youth: Barrington Levy & Friends At Joe Gibbs (1980-85)“.

Stay Home With Me: @HoodCelebrityy Remixes @FrenchMontana’s “Famous”!

Fame is a helluva drug, and it comes at a high price. While many wish to reach that larger than life level, sometimes it costs friendships, family, and even morals. Many who have done everything to achieve fame later regretted it. Tonight we’re not gonna get too preachy, it’s all about the music coming from Jamaican born, Bronx based, Hood Celebrityy. Grabbing the reigns of French Montana’s “Famous“, she tackles it with her blend of Dancehall/Hip Hop. Highlighting how people treat you when you’re famous, she adds that they’ll never love you as well as those who genuinely care for you. The track was produced by Rico Love, DTownThaGreat, and DanjaHandz, and the original is featured on French’s “Jungle Rules” Album. Previewed earlier on a few Radio stations locally and overseas, it was met with mostly positive reviews. Fame can really change a person, stay home with me.
