NEW VIDEO: @LLCoolJ x @Mavado_Gully – The Hustler

MLL

After teaming up some time ago, one of Hip Hop’s greatest Rappers, LL Cool J and the Gully God, Mavado drop the visual to “The Hustler“. Directed by Benny Boom and shot in New York, we hear the artists speak on the street life while we witness see some of the activities that happen in the New York streets. While some may see it as an odd combination, I like that Mavado got a chance to work with one of Hip Hop’s elite artists. LL Cool J’s new album will hit the streets very soon. Always remember where you came from. Check out the video below and share your thoughts in the comments section.

QQ

As a featured performer on the upcoming “On The Reggae Tip” concert in New York, Dancehall artist QQ made a stop at Hot 97’s Ebro In The AM to discuss a few things. Here he spoke a little on his background, his popularity in Jamaica, his hit songs “Stukie” and “One Drop” and the stories behind them. Short but a good interview here. NEW VIDEO: @WeChiefMusic x @JetSetProfessor – Gyals From Brooklyn

WC

After hitting us with the energetic single weeks ago, We Chief provides a visual to “Gyals From Brooklyn“. Directed by Sebastian Jiminez and shot in BrooklynNew York at the Grand Army Plaza, Bushwick, Bed-Stuy and DUMBO, we see some ladies performing dance routines, a backyard party, men riding on small pink tricycles, and a cameo from Choreographer Blacka Di Danca. A good effort here as they aim to bring the same energy felt from listening to the song into the video. That Jean Jacket with the We Chief logo on the back is really dope. Check out the video below and share your thoughts in the comments section.

NEW VIDEO: @IAmCashBilz x @TrooSkiSGC – Bulls*** (Prod. by @SOULOnlineNet)

CashBDropping bars on the block is the duo of New York Rappers Cash Bilz and Troo. Titled “Bulls***“, this SOUL produced track was directed by Benny G and it shows Cash Bilz and the gang making stops on the block, hitting up the corner store and dropping lyrics where they’re urging the NY DJs to play their music, Hip Hop being a lifestyle, how dope they can be when they hit the booth, and getting at the new rappers who promote trash music. A good effort here and SOUL’s production along with the Big L sample complimented Cash and Troo’s lyrics and delivery. Shade Gang Crazy, put them on the radio Flex, Envy, Clue and even KaySlay. Check out the video below and share your thoughts in the comments section.

NEW VIDEO: @OnstageTV Interviews @TheRealKranium

KRaFrom New York to Jamaica, Kranium has been steadily making a name for himself in the Dancehall scene. With his single “Nobody Has To Know” burning up airwaves to even being cosigned by Rapper Drake, Kranium stopped by Onstage for the first time to further “Buss” himself to the Jamaican public. Here he spoke about his upbringing in New York, getting his start in the music business including toiling to get a break in New York, the success of “Nobody Has To Know” and the story behind it, and furthering his success with future projects. Not a bad Interview here, Kranium also presented the music video to his single. I respect what Kranium has done and as Winford described it, his success is one of the rare ones. When he wins, Jamaica wins. Check out the video below and share your thoughts in the comments section.
