From Pittsburgh to Kingston is the collaboration between Rapper Boaz and legendary Reggae artist Junior Reid. Titled “How We Law” and produced by K-Salaam and Beatnick, we hear the artists telling you how they live their lives day to day, making their own rules, and “nuh tek check” from anyone. Not a bad effort here as Junior Reid is no stranger to international collabs. This serves as the first single off Boaz’s debut album off Rostrum Records. We do things our own way. With a mix of Reggae and Hip Hop comes the collaboration between Hip Hop duo Smif-N-Wessun and Jahdan in the form of a lyric video. Titled “Kamikaze“, a single off Smif-N-Wessun’s Reggae inspired “Born and Raised” EP, they speak on how they live their everyday lives while Jahdan handles the hook duties over a Reggae tinged instrumental. Not a bad effort from the artists, hopefully they release a real video for this single. Smif-N-Wessun aren’t new to the Reggae scene as they’ve collaborated with Bounty Killa under the moniker “Cocoa Brovaz” for the classic “It’s A Party“.

Although Sting is known to have hardcore dancehall performances, singer Romain Virgo brought his Reggae set to JamWorld. Singing some of his hits, Virgo had the crowd in the palm of his hands. Very great performance and sadly it may be his last. I hope he comes back. Check out the video below and share your thoughts in the comments section.
