With a splash of old school Reggae and Hip Hop comes a new tune from top Jamaican Rapper, Five Steez. Titled “Deadly” and produced by DJ Crooks, Steez brought his lyrical gun to the fight here. Here he spoke on being deadly with his flow, aiming to outshine whoever he spars with, representing the “First Coast” and showing respect to legendary Rappers who were born in Jamaica like Bushwick Bill, Chubb Rock, and Heavy D. What a way to start off the buzz for his upcoming “These Kingston Times” project. With Reggae and Dancehall Music being infused in various genres over the years, many artists and producers have seen it as a way to create new and fantastic sounds that will bring people together to enjoy it. With their own genre termed “RaggaTronic“, a mix of Dancehall, Reggae, Soca, EDM, Tropical Bass, and Moombahton comes the Brooklyn collective named We Chief with their new single. Titled “Gyals From Brooklyn” and features Da Professor, this is an electrifying track that encourages listeners to get their bodies moving to the beats, breaking speakers, disturbing quiet neighbourhoods, and having fun to this blend of genres. this sounds like a summer hit and great artwork by Flyland Designs as well.
