Recording Artiste Phillye is at it again! This time she has released her new single ‘Get It’ on the ‘Pull Up Riddim’ produced by Head Concussion Records Producer Rvssian. The Dancehall single comes as a surprise to many Phillye fans as she is often known for her sultry Reggae and R&B cross over singles.
Phillye who was given her stage name by the producer Sly Dunbar in Kingston, Jamaica resides in Philadelphia in the United States. She recalls working with several Jamaican Producers but was indeed intrigued when approached by Rvssian to produce a song on the Riddim. She said, “I met him online but I know his Riddims are always very creative so I was elated to get this opportunity and also to try a different genre”.
The ‘Supernatural’ Songstress known for singles such as ‘Jah Jah Light’ and ‘Live Your Life’ is now on the promotional trail and is eager to expand her fan base especially in Jamaica. She said, “I have fans all over the world, they communicate with me well online but I want to really start reaching out to my fans more and giving them the opportunity to hear a more versatile me”.

After hitting hard with their collab “Straight Jeans and Fitted“, Vybz Kartel and Rvssian team up for a new single. Titled “Yellow Yellow“, we hear lyrics about getting fresh gear and jewelry, and having all the girls go crazy over them anywhere they go. This tag team may have done it again, the only problem is that Kartel won’t be around to perform it live with Rvssian. Love the skin you’re in! In today’s installment in the “NewMusicTuesday“, Dreggae teams up with singer Santrella Renee. Titled “Black Is Beauty” and produced by Rvssian, we hear Dreggae telling a story of a young lady who was told to alter her skin so that she can advance in life while Santrella sings that we should never be ashamed of being black and black is definitely beautiful.
