My name is my name. Today’s new music comes from Sons Of Liberty gunner The Therapist. Titled “Nayme“, we hear Therapist taking over The Fugees’ classic “Ready or Not” beat and dropping crazy lyrics about why his team is the one to look out for and making sure you know his name and the name of his gang. Nice mix of singing and rapping and not using the generic flow and song structure whenever “Ready or Not” is used. You better remember the name. NEW MUSIC: @MJamesSOL – Only Kids Dream

Today’s new music comes from Sons Of Liberty member, Miguel James. Titled “Only Kids Dream” and produced by Miguel and Riptide, we hear Miguel taking it back to moments in his upbringing including when he listened to raps and penned lyrics, to now being determined to make it and overcome his struggles. According to the title only kids dream and being at the age of 21, he needs to make things happen. Really great production here along with very interesting lyrics that promises you to rewind a few parts. The Sons Of Liberty are coming to your neighborhood, no need for your Neighborhood WatchDogs. Today’s new video comes from the collective of King Biggs, haYze, The Therapist, Tristan, The Rush and 5 Star. Titled “Tribes of Hip Hop” and directed by Yannick Reid for Aeon Pro Studios, Randy Richards and Matthew McCarthy, we see them leading a mob through a neighborhood all while dropping bars over a hard hitting production made by King Biggs. You may also see a few familiar faces in the crowd. Who got the Jazz? I need a SOL shirt! Today’s new music comes from The Sons Of Liberty members Hayze, King Biggs and 5 Star. Titled “Greener Pastures” and produced by DJ Heatwave, the rappers talk about a young lady who dropped her mother’s ambitions for her to go to school for the fast life. In her endeavors to chase fame and fortune she went through some rough times that made her look back on her decisions. In the end throughout her sadness and regrets she took her own life.
