Jamaican Producer Krs. has been making a name for himself for quite a while with his original Productions. The founder of Film Noir, he has produced many remixes and has been a part of many singles locally and Internationally including Canadian Artist Roy Woods’ “Gwan Big Up Urself“! Recently he got a hold of R&B Recording Artist Brandy’s classic “I Wanna Be Down” and worked his Production magic on it. Giving the 1994 single a face lift, Krs. takes the track on a Caribbean trip and even adds a Popcaan dubplate at the end as an added bonus. US based Rapper Zuse has been on the radar of many since his debut. The Jamaica born Rapper never stopped repping Yaad and he continues to do so on his recently released Mixtape, “Trench Zuse“! A collaboration with Production Duo Nard and B, Zuse fires off lyrics about the Trap, the Zooly life, making something out of nothing, and showing love to his crew over some dark Production with assistance from XL, DJ Spinz, Jay Nasty, Bobby Kritical and DJ Plugg. After conducting a little voting session earlier on Snapchat and Instagram, Recording Artist Toian tallied up the results and released the winning track, “So Rude“. With a smooth Production that is armed with a Popcaan sample, Toian rides it with ease as she speaks on being close to her feisty lover that wants her to break all the rules. The Council Holds Over Fans With The “Forgotten Parables” EP!

Jamaican Hip Hop Super Group The Council, which comprises of Five Steez, Inztinkz, Nomad Carlos and The Sickest Drama, is currently working on the “Nothing Else Matters” Album. With over a year since their debut single and a few weeks since their 2nd single, they aim to hold over fans with their 2 track EP titled “Forgotten Parables“. Produced by Inztinkz and featuring Arofat, Julio Sluggz and Wallabee, the Group explained that these songs were made years prior to the formation of the Group and it was only right to set them free and show listeners that it was written for them to work together exclusively. “Nothing Else Matters” sees a 2017 release but for now, check out the EP below and share your thoughts in the comments section.

Canada Based Rapper Solyd Roy Is The “Cruff Daddy” On New Single.

Dropping a new tune today is Canada based Rapper, Solyd Roy! Titled “Cruff Daddy“, the Kingston born Rapper shows listeners what he can do over this head banging Production. While he brags a little on the track, he also showcases his ability to handle the beat and let you know that he’s someone to watch out for. “I feel like this song was just me reintroducing myself to the HipHop scene as best as possible. I obviously had fun writing and recording the track, but at the end of the day, I just wanted the song to paint the perfect image of who I am musically,” said the Rapper. As the Hip Hop movement continues to rise in Jamaica, many members have taken it across the seas and even influenced other emerging and established acts.
