This past summer, the Jessicas of the world gained some extra confidence thanks to the release of the single “Jessica” by Michaël Brun, SAINt JHN, Charly Black, J. Perry, and J Balvin. The track did very well with the public, and was featured on Brun’s “FAMI SUMMER” EP. The song showed that when it comes to making hits, the Caribbean is elite in that department as various Islands represented for a summer hit. Brun wants to take it to another level with the release of the “Jessica (Island Remix)“.

With Michaël Brun (Haiti) behind the boards, we get the familiar hook of the original version of “Jessica“, but on the “Jessica (Island Remix)”, we get verses from J. Perry (Haiti), Charly Black (Jamaica), and the Soca legend, Machel Montano (Trinidad & Tobago). The new release promises to bring plenty in these chilly times, and will once again boosting the confidence of all the Jessicas. A few days ago, Trini star Jimmy October had people making love connections with his new single, “1 On 1“. The single has been making its rounds and receiving positive reviews, but there were hints that October had a couple surprises to follow up the single’s release. Directed by Kyle Adams and Ampah Edwards, Jimmy October taps into some retro vibes in the video for “1 On 1”. Trinidad/Brooklyn-based Recording Artist Young Devyn has been on the scene for quite some time. She has been steadily building her presence and fanbase thanks to a number of releases including her two “Baby Goat” projects, and collaborations with the likes of Fivio Foreign, Ace Numbafive, Kenzo B, and EA Sports for the “Madden 24” soundtrack. While things have been looking up, she still finds time to flex her abilities on popular tracks. She went viral by remixing Byron Messia’s “Talibans” this past Summer, and now she tackles Malie Donn’s “V6“.

Young Devyn gives Malie Donn’s “V6” the “Bad Gyal Remix” treatment, and she is having fun here. Adding to the remix, she dropped a In-Studio performance video directed by Reel Guerrillas. The original “V6” has been considered one of the top singles of 2023, and has been enjoying its share of viral love. Young Devyn looks to drop more music in the coming weeks.
